The gym was clean, safe, spacious, and very comfortable to use.nnI was a bit confused about the cancellation process since I’m returning to my home country, but every staff member kindly guided me through it. The best Gym, not as crowded as other gyms excluding peak hours. Clean and tidy, all machines are in great working conditions, staff are friendly and helpful.nThe best price in Nz hands down!nThanks City fitness Birkenhead!

The gym here is not a bad gym from my experiences but the staff I encountered here treated me like shit and accused me of lying for something I didn’t do even though she wasn’t there to witness it and kept cutting me off when I spoke and was extremely rude and threatened to call security on me and interrupted me while I was speaking to my friends telling me to leave. The gym manager also tried to accuse me of something he didn’t witness and told me to leave the gym with out listening to my side of the story and was extremely rude and threatened to call security on me for trying to make my way out of the gym and was starting to get aggressive with me and then gaslighting me saying that was trying to hear me out, even though he was just accusing me the whole time. He also said I was disrespectful to the staff even though the staff started swearing at me

Lots of machinery to use, weights, carpets, non machinery training equipment. Spotlessly clean changing rooms with clean showers and toilets. A very professional gym to work out.

i’ve visited all the city fitness locations in auckland from my 2 years of journey, and i’d say this is definitely one of the best. it is comfortable to workout, close to town centre, easy to catch bus to city, has more space, a good variety of exercises though it could use more cable machines, and most importantly, a great view where you can see the city!nnhighly recommend and would go there again!
