Best cinema experience I've ever had! Thanks for that! The fresh baked cookies during the intermission are definitely soul food. Absolutely great! The rooms are so cool and charming, the seats and sofas totally comfy. Staff super friendly, chatty and helpful. Thanks! This cinema is total worth it! Love it! Can't wait to come over again

Thanks to the Cinema owner for premiering the movie on our Suited time. One of the Best Movie theater in the Town and one must Visit if you are in the Wanaka. If a friend recommends that you stop by Wanaka on your travels solely to get cookies from a cinema, you know those cookies are going to be epic. In this case, we did stop by Cinema Paradiso for warm cookies. We didn’t have time to catch a full movie at the cinema as we were on a tight schedule, but the staff at the cinema were kind enough to let us order cookies without a ticket, and bake them for us upon order. And the verdict? Yes, these cookies are absolutely worth the stopover.

Rather disappointed that supposed film lovers think an intermission between every film is a good idea - I'd love if they could give a reason why, otherwise it seems like a ploy to sell their cookies. There was also some amazing audacity to serve obviously frozen oven-reheated pizzas for $25. Ultimately, the eccentric seating felt like a gimmick - it didn't really change my experience of going to the cinema in any way. Shame that they're so focused on seeming like they provide a great experience that they fail to actually provide a great experience.

Wow what a treat this place is. Such comfy couches to sit in. The staff were so friendly and personable, making jokes and making the experience even better. You can pre order vegan cookies to be warm and ready at the intermission. They were delicious. The intermission idea is great, good to get up and stretch your legs and maybe get another glass of wine. Will 100% be back!

Great cinema that offers fresh cookies during the halfway point of the movie. The unique chairs offer a different experience worth having. Recommend going early to get a good seat and ordering the cookies so you don't miss out!

What a wonderful and unique cinema experience. A must do for anyone visiting Wanaka. The staff are so friendly and genuinely seem happy to be working. You must order a cookie for intermission. They’ll have them freshly baked, warm, and waiting for you. For those unsure about the intermission, it’s honestly not a problem unless you’re a grouch. It’s a great chance to grab extra food and a hot cookie and go the the loo. It doesn’t last long at all, maybe 5 minutes. Add it to your list of must visits.

Fantastic experience, best cinema I’ve been to! It’s my second time visiting Wanaka and kicking myself for not visiting first time around! Whats not to love about enjoying a movie with glass of wine in hand and a freshly baked cookie and coffee at half time intermission! The staff were all incredibly friendly and the cinemas are so fun with different seating options. Would recommend to everyone!

Had a fantastic homely movie experience in this theatre. Definitely a must go for a movie if you are around the area. The freshly baked cookie during intermission was so good as well.
