Don't often give 5 stars but I had such a great experience. Great food. I had a late breakfast which lasted me all the way up roys peak. Staff were all genuinely friendly and welcoming. More than happy to help with directions and tips. Thank you.

Our main are great. Ribs are tender and full of flavor. Steak are cooked perfectly medium. Only shame is spicy chicken wings is way too salty, squid is a bit greasy. But the sauce of squid is delicious....

We loved our experience here, and ended up coming back twice! We had gone here before when it was the Lone Star and were unimpressed, but these guys have definitely turned it around. Child friendly, and good sized portions after a hard days skiing. Also get a good view into the climbing wall place next door while you are eating! Kids loved the make it yourself ice cream sundae bar.

One of the best restaurants I have eaten since I was in New Zealand! It was a real treat! The staff was very friendly and smiling, I was even entitled to a candle on my cake for my birthday! I ordered the Unforgiven: 250gm rib eye steak, creamy potato gratin, grilled portobello mushrooms, black garlic butter, chimichurri jus & seasonal vegetables. How to say ? It was a delight! I loved ! The meat was perfect !! The best piece of meat I have eaten in the last 11 months! The mushrooms were very good too! The dessert was good but not amazing, it is especially the cooking and the seasoning of the meat which was incredible !

Very commercial and cold. They try too hard and the prices are higher. Decent food though, and good for kids all you can eat ice cream bar.

Jack Rabbit's was very good. The food is among the best I've had in NZ without the typical pseudo-gourmet accents.

Very nice staff but the food is not good. We ordered pizza and pork burger. The pizza came after 5 minutes, apparently it's frozen and they only warm it. It wasn't good. The pork burger had tons of sauce, the pork itself is quite good, it's a shame they put tons of sauce on it.

Okay food at an average price. Let down by poor service. No refills, no one to check meal etc. Ribs were pretty good, salmon in salad was plentiful however was extremely overdone...dry and hard, kids meals were good. The highlight was ice cream sundae. Good but nothing wow.

Outstanding service and venue. All staff went out of their way to give us a great night. Highly recommend. Pizza and nibbles are generous sizes, full of flavour and suit kids of all ages...
