Coffee is good! A more chocolate my blend Coffee is usually a double espresso shot so no need to ask for a double shot unless you want 4 shots of espresso. I didn’t The gluten free chocolate and raspberry brownie is a double yum!!! Huge shout out to the staff who patiently worked out how to help two ladies who spoke no English work out what they wanted, needed and how to make the currency work! That. Was. Impressive.
Absolutely mediocre food. Also far too overpriced for small quantities with such low quality ingredients. This tiny plate picture was $25, which would have been more understandable if it was fresh, high quality local ingredients but it very clearly wasn't. Staff weren't able to answer questions about notes on the menu.
I went to this coffee shop with my partner in hopes to get some work done. I had my laptop and charger in plain sight in my hands. The short haired women cashier did not think to mention they didn’t offer Wi-Fi OR EVEN OUTLETS which they clearly had they just don’t let customers use to charge up, until after we spent $16 on 2 tiny cups of chai. Also when she informed me they make their chai in house and it has no sweetener added which I was ok with and asked if I would like honey or some sugar I politely asked for a little of both. She looked at me very rudely till I changed my answer to just honey. We didn’t complain just decided to sit down and enjoy our drinks but even that was tough as they came out Luke warm. Would’ve probably gave 3 stars if the service wasn’t so oblivious and rude. Will not return : and In response to the equally as oblivious and rude ‘owner’, we did speak to the staff, as clearly stated in the review. We even double checked there weren’t other working outlets available. Maybe don’t be so defensive of your paying costumers reviews and take some accountability on behalf of your business. You seem pleasant.
We love visiting your Cafe when we're in Wanaka. Great food, and the young girl that works for you is a legend. Never stops moving, and saved me from " being squashed " Food: 4/5
We love this place, the owner us so pleasant, always warmly greeted and the food is a delight. Highly recommended to allFood: 5/5
Amazing food with some great flavors. The mountaineer's fuel breakfast was great, but I could have done without the homemade sausage; Too much seasoning in it that didn't let the meat flavor shine. No take out orders which seemed strange, but if you can wait it's a great breakfast choice.
Experience okay. Great busy vibe. Suggestion that Baristas use a small gadget that you put the coffee lid into and then put the lid on the coffee only touching the gadget when doing Takeaway drinks. same as Z petrol station use.. It seemed hard to distinguish between what food was fresh and what was from the day before, so room for improvement there / display. Some of the food did look quiet nice in saying that.
We love the coffee and food in here but I have to say the unwelcoming owner really lets this place down. When you’re paying for a service you do expect to feel welcome - with kids and all. Every time I’ve come in I have noticed this. The waitresses etc have always been friendly and it sure makes a difference
Excellent service & food. Friendly & interested staff. Busy & popular place/space. Parking: If you lived in Wanaka you would get the hang of parking. It was easier when on scooter Vespa or e-bike. Wheelchair accessibility: Excellent.
Great service, clean environment, upbeat vibe, prompt food delivery. Variety of dietary options available and ‍ flag on the door. Happy with my choice of eatery today. Keep up the great work!
