We had a booking for 5 at 6.30. Waitress took drink orders on arrival. She was very efficient. Our food orders would of been taken around 6.50. May have about half an hour wait for meals, depending what you order. Don't worry you won't be disappointed. Photos to follow.
It was the first time that my wife and I dinined at Casa Nostra and they certainly left a great impression...really good food, friendly staff and a nice place to spend the evening. The food was unassuming, presented well enough but more care was taken to make sure that it tasted really good. The only reason why I wasn't able to give 5 starts is that the food took a while to come out, but that might have been because it was fully booked. I'd still highly recommend it nonetheless. P.S. The portion sizes were HUGE!
Went last night, celebrating my birthday with my partner. We have ordered several times through UberEats so we knew the food was delicious, and decided to dine out as a treat. The food… was absolutely delicious 5/5 stars. The service, however, maybe 1/5 stars and I’m being generous. The waitress we had definitely seemed to not want to be there. They serve pasta with different sauces. I asked for a certain type of pasta and wanted it to have a different type of sauce than what was on the menu but was told that couldn’t be done because they were “too busy” - while it’s true they were busy I work in hospitality too and we say that there’s no such thing as busy, but actually doing our job, I was told that this would not be possible. You cook the pasta and the sauces separately, so I really don’t understand how much trouble this would have been. I also asked for cream on the side, and besides several dishes stating they have cream, I was told they didn’t have any. After ordering, our plates took 40 mins to get to the table, while having empty drinks and not being asked if we wanted a refill or anything, I asked for the drinks menu when our mains arrived. Drinks a beer and a soft drink took an extra 10 minutes. We did have another server who seemed a bit happier come and ask how our meals were at some point. 2 waitresses for a full restaurant, I do feel a bit sorry for them. And to top it up, the hand dryer in the toilet did not work. I try to never complain about anything, but hoping this get read by management so they can properly train their staff. Again, food was absolutely amazing so will definitely order online in the future, but don’t recommend dining in.
Excellent restaurant. Delicious Italian food as well as amazing above-and-beyond service. Had a birthday dinner and everyone was well looked after and very happy. Couldn’t recommend more. Will definitely be returning!
We were thoroughly impressed with this lovely place. The food was fantastic, perfectly cooked steak, risotto and authentic pizza. Our desserts were to die for too, plenty of choice and so delicious and refreshing. The staff also were amazing, attentive, accommodating and friendly. Even when it got busy they stayed cool and it was a joy to see their work ethic and communication with each other. Definitely a place I can see us going to time and again.
Fantastic little Italian restaurant, we went there with family and our little one. Staff are super friendly and helpful. I had the polpette with basil pesto and I couldn’t finish it - portion sizes are very generous - I took it home for lunch the next day, it was just as nice then too. We had the margarita/basil pizza for starters and it was authentically Italian absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in the area.
Great food with sizeable portions, nice ambience, friendly and helpful staff. Staff constantly checked up on us and put my food into a takeaway container when I asked for a container intending to do it myself. They had a curtain around the door so we wouldn't be hit with the cold air when it opened. Overall fantastic experience and would recommend!
Second time visiting Casa Nostra, food is absolutely delicious, great friendly staff. I'm on a mission to work my way through the menu. I highly recommend.Food: 5/5
The main course was so disappointing. Not even reach the level as a normal home cook dish. The bolognaise was sooo bland and overcooked. The risotto was plain and nothing special. I must say it is so embrarrassing that this is the italian restarant turned their food out like this……People can definitely find another restaurant where can suprise them in this price range
These guys are amazing, food is everything you could want from a family *feel* Italian joint. The service was outstanding, personable, attentive and genuinely friendly. Would 100% recommend Casa Nostra.
