Burger Master

Don't know what the good review hype is about... Ordered a fish burger for lunch, fish was terrible, freezer burnt then deep fried. Chips were soggy. Wouldn't recommend or go backFood: 1/5

Posting for a few reasons. The fish n chips here are some of the best ive had in the city so far and i go out of my way for it. Cripsy crunch and always fresh. And portions are always generous. I like my chips well done too and its also somewhere that understands that when most ignore the request and just give soggy chips. The customer service is above and beyond. We are always greeted warmly with smiles and friendliness. This alone is a reason to revisit, i dont understand why other shops don’t understand the value of quality customer service. And lastly, there arent any photos of the fish n chips in the pictures above so...here are a few.

Genuinely the most unsatisfactory meal my household has ever had from a burger/fish & chips place. Chicken was undercooked and chewy, burger was mainly lettuce and bun. Onion rings were mushy and all thick shakes were basically powdered water. Fish burger had hard skin still on it and wasn’t chewable had to pull it out of mouth with each bite The most overpriced meal I’ve ever paid and the total cost I was told on the phone was different to when I picked up the food up. Am never coming back again and hope others consider this too.

I am quite disappointed. We ordered three burgers takeaway. Two of them were burnt on the top bun, and since we ordered takeaway, it wasn't worth driving back. I will probably try the food again, as the other items we ordered were nice. See photo of the burnt burgers, I cannot believe that they would actually serve that to a customer!

Hawaiian Hamburger meat patty was wafer thin and tasted odd.Burger lacked substance with only lettuce and a slice of tomato and pineapple ring.Couldnt fault service.

Food was quite superb; however, they don't take credit cards.Food: 4/5

I usually try giving positive reviews but these guys are surely no master at making burgers. Ordered the Chicken tandoori burger, and it was really bland, no flavor, and very soggy. The sauce was shocking. Not the kind of meal one looks forward to after a hard day's work. The chicken was a waste, and the veggies felt like they were just heated up in the microwave. Really disappointed as i've had their Fish n chips a couple of times and their crumbed fish are really nice. Definitely not your go to place for burgers.

Steak burger was good. Chicken burger was average. Chips were fine but weren't crispy enough.

Really great, friendly service and a nice range of burgers and sides - I had the Angus beef burger which was massive and pretty decent. Loved the deep-fried crumbed camembert.

Didnt enjoy at all the fish was very greasy battered and chips werent great either. Nice friendly staff.
