I ordered tabbouleh and a falafel pita, and I must say that the tabbouleh was incredibly delicious. However, I was a bit disappointed by the portion size, as it seemed smaller than I had anticipated. Unfortunately, the falafels in the pita were overcooked and ended up being burned, making them inedible. Despite this unfortunate experience, I wanted to mention that I really enjoyed the hot sauce.
Great tasting food with a chilled vibe. Nice choice of meals on the menu. Can get pretty busy so ask for your Koftas to come as soon as possible!Recommended dishesLamb Shawama
Tender and juicy kebab. Made fresh. Very friendly staff. Quick service.
I live a couple of minutes walk from Fatima’s in Ponsonby. I love the food but the service is dreadful - food often sits on the side while they forget to call your name and you take food home cold. You’re advised to pick up in20 minutes but the reality is usually double what you’re told. I don’t normally complain but this has been the same now four times in a row. What a massive shame - it doesn’t take much to look after your customers.
An icon of takeout in Auckland. I had the lamb fattoush salad I think that's what it's called Awesome, super tasty, zingy, fresh The young lady that served me was great also. I eat here regularly and it can depend on who serves you and or who's working that day. It's not always consistent
I shouted my team of 3 for lunch mainly because of special dietary needs Fatima was a good choice. The staff were friendly and use of fresh ingredients. The wrap was large and very filling. Prices are reasonable
Wanted to give 5 stars bcze Food always yumm and workers are really good.but the bad thing is theres a guy who were wearing white t-shirt is very unhygienic.its 2nd time happened he was taking orders and was putting his finger in nose.he can put his finger but atleast wash it man.sorry about that i only paid for my food and ingredients inside i dont want extra ingredients from his nose.thanks alot by the way it’s happend between 5 pm to 5:25 pm Wednesday 8 march.thanks i dont want to stop coming from this place.
The food was good but it didn't particularly stand out. Maybe just a tiny bit better than a typical kebab from what a colleague thought but i thought it was about the same.
Love the food. It’s really nice and fresh. Service is fine. The flavours are really awesome. I love the way everything taste so fresh and different. Close to authentic flavours. Highly recommended.
Fatima’s has always been a go to for us but their revamped menu is a real let down. It’s disappointing that we can no longer order a vegan falafel pita. The only choice is a cauliflower one. Tried it today. Ordered online, pick up in 30 mins, but waited a further 25 mins for the order. The vegan pita did not have any spiced nuts and was half the quantity as the other pitas on the order but alas ooozing with excruciating amount of oil. The oil made it so difficult to eat even after squeezing the pita out several times. Tried to call Fatima’s and no one would answer. Would love to continue patronage with the return of old favourites. Unfortunately the heart attack on a pita is not for us.
