As we were walking past we noticed the lovely garden area out back. So we decided to pop in for brunch. Which we’re so pleased we did as the food and coffee was fantastic!! I had the big brekkie and my bf had the omelet which were both some of the best we’ve had. Such a yummy oat milk coffee and banana milkshake as well. We were also super impressed by the service, particularly the chef who was also serving us. Thanks so much for the lovely experience
LOVE this spot. Walked by it and liked the vibe so went in. Turns out the coffee is solid. Stout is great too. Been a couple times already in this last week - also had the eggs benny and mince on toast - recommended. Cute backyard space. The team is super friendly here. Will definitely be back.
We’re good food, good coffee, amazing service and good vibes all come together. Rain or shine this place is perfect to unwind and settle into some damn good food. Sat in their little secret garden outback and it was pretty special. I had the French Toast which was delicious Sided with a long black. Wanted to stay a little longer so ordered another flat white. Coffee here is mighty fine! Clean tables and toilets. Also pretty accessible Think I’ve found my day off go to in Auckland !
Cosy and friendly cafe with plenty of seating, indoors and outdoors. Staff were friendly and efficient, food was delicious. Only feedback would be that the eggs Benedict didn't specify the eggs were on the hash browns i.e. no toast. Which is fine and was very tasty but I was expecting bread being at hungry as I was hahaFood: 4/5
Great food, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. The backyard could do with a bit of tidying up to make it more appealing
The atmosphere is cosy and make you want to come back. I recommended coming here anytime of the day even just for having a cup of coffee.
First-time visitors to Sol's, but we would definitely visit again when in town. From the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted by two really lovely guys. They both engaged in conversation with us, and we were quickly seated and given menus. The food and coffees arrived fast, and both were full of flavor, and the presentation was great. Upon settling the bill, I had a great chat with the barista and even managed to purchase some of their coffee beans. It was lovely to be served by people who clearly enjoy and love what they do. It radiated in their service and connections with their patrons. I hope you hold on to such great team members. We are not from auckland, but I certainly wouldn't hesitate in visiting Sol's again.
The food was very fresh but I have to say the French toast portion was VERY small for what you paid. 1 medium and one very small piece of bread - perhaps because we ended up there when the kitchen was just about to close but it was quite a disappointment. The fish tacos however were very good and quite filling.
We come to Sol’s cafe every Saturday and can say we’ve almost tried every item on the menu. It doesn’t disappoint! Our kids are always welcomed and the sandpit keeps them busy while we get to eat. Great coffee and really friendly staff. Would recommend the eggs on toast - perfect poached egg. Kid-friendliness: Great sandpit and friendly staff always helping us with the pram to get down the small step!
Had a little brunch on their back patio. So cute and very nice people was recommended the bacon and it did not disappoint!
