Enjoyed their coffee - cappuccino with our breakfast at the neighbour crepes stall eating area. If you are visiting Ponsonby Central and need a caffeine hit you should check out their brew and perhaps buy their roasted beans too!
I really enjoyed the coffee from here and I drink a lot of coffee. What I loved most about this place was how everything was white and minimalist feeling. The service was really fast and efficient and they also could buy beans from a them. The coffee here is only takeaway and no tables.
Very nice coffee! fast service and nice staff especially Jack
Refused my cash. I had the correct amount. Cash is legal tender still.Food: 4/5
Jack's a legend. Great space, service and flat white.Food: 5/5
Went here on the strength of a previous reviewer. Sorry, but coffee was decidedly average and I was left disappointed. Long black was too sweet, without any bite normally associated with a LB. Nowhere to sit and chillax either. There are better places nearby. Bonus is: open on Sunday day until 5pm
Stupidly good coffee. I had walked about 100 metres away before I tried my coffee. It was the best coffee I'd ever had so, after losing my mind over how good it was, I went back and bought another equally as good and a bag of the beans it was made from. Usually spy capaccinos are average but my word, go to this coffee place. It's amazing
Good coffee, choice of espresso or batch filter. Great range of single origin and blended beans available and coffee paraphernalia for sale too. Take away only with limited seating options around.
My favourite coffee in Auckland. It feels like all too often cafes in Auckland have undertrained staff operating coffee machines who are far too comfortable calling themselves baristas. Eightthirty in Ponsonby Central is the antidote to this trend — no BS, genuine coffee specialists who do one thing and do it really bloody well. If you care about good coffee, eightthirty is worth going out of your way for.
One of the best coffees in Auckland. I get a coffee here even if I don’t feel like a coffee - that how much I love their coffees
