Browns Bay Fisheries

Ordered a steak and egg burger with about $60 worth of other food. No egg. And half a peice schnitzel. No greens or garnish.. chips were a joke for the price and the customer service we got was an apsolutle joke. Never again. Such a shame as was once my no.1 go too..

When the tomato sauce is the best part of the meal you know you're in trouble. Soggy half cooked chips, undercooked potato fritters and surprisingly overcooked fish which quite frankly was inedible. Perhaps frozen too long? Whatever it was, it was enough for me to put a review up. Sorry but I won't be back.

Fish and chips actually good but been there three time and every time the food stank of old oil so don't go there any more. Pity.

Great place for fresh snapper and chips. wait was slightly longer but was extremely busy. definitely worth it the wait if you have some time

The food is quality.. probably top 10 fish and chips shop place for me. I would say they abit pricy tho but it's what you would pay in that area. The best part about this place is that is so close to the beach, it's practically on the beach, 2 minute walk from the beach depending where you are on the the beach. Can't say anything bad about the food.

Chips tasted like rotten milk very disappointed. I used to go here all the time and the food was superb but after they sold to new owners it is a terrible place not to mention the lady serving me was very rude.

Used to enjoy fish n chips from here. Last time the portions were tiny, greasy and soggy. Thought it maybe just a one off but no. Rang through order, got there and they had no record of it, showed them my phone with the list of food, then when we opened it they forgot half of the order but charged us for it. Then they wanted to charge me again after already charging me. The quality was disgusting. Could have eaten better quality fish washed up on the shore 5 weeks ago laying in the hot sun! Appalling quality. Appalling service. Appalling takeaways. Never go there again!
