Bison BBQ

I was very excited to go to Bison today after seeing rave reviews.nThe views are nice over the estuary, decor was tasteful and warm, music was good.nThe young waitress was very attentive.nI loved the salsa, lots of flavour and very fresh.nMac and cheese was nice.nI was pretty disappointed in the brisket though, around 3/4 of mine was fat which seemed a hell of alot compared to other brisket I’ve had.nI’m taking a guess that I just got unlucky with the slices I was given today so will perhaps try again another day.

Great first time had no idea it was there. Just off the main road. Friendly staff happy to suggest options and check up on your meals. John head chef said hello and thanked us for coming. Happily replied food and service is amazing. Seated outside for lunch next to a we brazier fire nice warm feeling on a colder day. Had to much fun just keeping the fire going. A nice interaction while having a catch up with a friend. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. Will be back.

I have never been to Texas, however I do love my BBQ. With all rubs and sauces made in-house the flavours are exceptional! My favourite sauce on their menu has to be Ambers Gold, it goes with every thing, chicken, beef or pork. In addition to that we are always greeted by the friendly head chef and owner Jon, he always makes the effort to come out of the kitchen and greet the patrons which is simply awesome. I highly recommend visiting this little gem if you have not already.

My husband and I did the trust the chef menu. Truly incredible experience. We were given SO much food and all of it was delicious! Would definitely recommend.

Bison BBQ is our genuine favourite place to go for food. We go often! It never disappoints. Service is always 10/10. Food is always on point. We leave feeling like we have eaten well and lots even though we always get a share platter but not too full that we feel sick. Have tried many items off the menu but not the dessert yet as we are always satisfied after main course. The ice tea seems straight out of America. The owner came to say hello the other day which was a surprise and so nice to see!nWe love Bison so much we held our engagement dinner there. Service was prompt and everyone enjoyed it we have lots of fussy and opinionated eaters. Highly recommend!!
