Pomeroys Old Brewery Inn

Been trying for a few weeks to get a table here, always booked out it seems but got lucky today with a walk in.nFish n Chips, unlike many pub meals, this serving actually had flavour and nice soft batter. We had other food as well, filling and with taste.

Went for a get together with group of friends and had a great time. Food was absolutely amazing, large selection of beers on tap and lovely staff.nnBest espresso martini I've ever had made by Ben the Bartender.

Shared a yummy pub dinner here with a few friends. I had the seafood chowder and they had the steak! Big portions and tasty flavours however steak was a little overcooked according to my 2 friends who had that dish despite asking for it medium rare Apart from that, great atmosphere and friendly service!

Good service. Hadn't made a reservation but we were warmly welcomed. Food was very enjoyable. Staff very pleasant. All in all a nice experience. Would recommend and return :

Superb pub! Excellent taplist, the best we encountered on the South Island. Brilliant food. Service table service for food was exemplary. What fantastic attentive and friendly staff. An absolute return venue.
