Absolutely SHOCKING!! Let's not talk about the food and about the pricing. Yes i understand inflation but this place is a total rip-off. Plenty of veg restaurants in the vicinity and some run by families and the food is a lot tastier and cheaper. The lady behind the counter wasn't very professional and not at all friendly. The people behind the counters have all sorts of things on their shirts and cloth especially they are wearing black coloured cloths so when they get curry stains its very evident.. not at all clean .Avoid if possible! Wouldn't be going back here... if i could give "0" rating i would have done that. Man like the food presentation and taste... nothing is good. Their sweets counter glasses hasn't been cleaned in decades I swear. If you really want to eat from Bikanervala please... please go to the Henderson branch way better. Henderson one is way CHEAPER !!!

Been to christchurch branch a few times, so had high expectations visiting this place. Turned out to be a huge disappointment. I had to cancel my Chaat orders after looking at the hygiene of Chaat stall. Other hot foods tasted very bad too. Bought sweets which are the only positive. Can see the condition of freezer where the ice creams are stored in the photorusty/mouldy?. Wondering how this place still has a license to operate.

Choosing is difficult! The good thing about Bikanervala is that it offers plenty of choices. This can also be what causes difficulty - in deciding what to order! This place serves South Indian, North Indian and Indo-Chinese items - snacks, main meals, sweets.....everything. But only vegetarian. We had 4 different items between 4 people, and all were good. The service was prompt and efficient. The one problem I noticed is that the chairs move on the floor - they seem to dance, with very little friction between the chairs and the floor. We had to be very careful, but managed it through the time we were there.

Filthiest customer service and ridiculous pricing!! Went at 9pm and the restaurant closes at 10pm - went in for chaat and tea and like always the restaurant wasn’t busy cause of it’s ridiculous customer service and food pricing, the mid aged guy attended me with a angry as attitude - told me I can’t dine in cause the kitchen closes at 9:45pm - reminded him it’s not even 9:10pm so we can surely dine in for chaat & tea but nope he made his mind to chase customers away that night! I wasn’t prepared to waste my money on that filthy attitude so ended up leaving and eating at Shor Bazaar Lynfield who attended us with an amazing attitude and yes they close at 10pm too but they were very accommodating! I hope the restaurant owner reads all the negative reviews.

NOT doing justice at all with indian chaats at all. I make way better chats at home than these guys. VERY FAKE version of BIKANERWALA. Would never visit again. NOT RECOMMENDED.Food: 1/5

3 years later had something that tasted so close to home. Thank you for an amazing brunch. Looks like prices have changed recently but this meal was worth it.

Very nice presentation of food, yummy too. We ordered chaat platter in which except samosa chat, I loved everything else. Good balance of flavors

The restaurant operates with the knowledge that it's a monopoly, cannot say you'd get value for money. However if you are into chaats, pani puri, and similar indian dishes, visit the place and make your own opinion..Food: 2/5

Food was ok ok However very spicy and too much colour ,I don’t know may be chef changed doesn’t taste well and good as it was before ,hara Bahra kababs we’re very chewy and stiff

Worst food ever tasted. Food was very cold n flavourless. Paneer pakoras were so hard that it wasn’t chewable. Had to throw everything. Tried calling them several times but their phone is not reachable. If there is an option of negative rating. I would have given that, you guys dont even deserve 1 star.
