Finally I was here for the first time, the famous and legendary Paradise! Heard heaps of how good it is. Also I've been eating their meal boxes from dairy a while so it was a total excitement to me to be able to dine in, finally. From starter, to the main to the drink, I enjoyed the entire process a lot. Nice design eating environment, good service even it's a Tuesday evening it's still packed. To be honest it's not a cheap Indian dining place, but it's definitely the iconic shop along Sandringham.
Great taste. Spinach Curry had great flavour and the garlic naan was warm and oily in a good way. If you want your taste buds tested, do order extra hot as it's not even that hot. Would be better if they allowed you to pay last rather than pay first at counter, since their food is good quality restaurant food and pay-first is usually for cheap eats rather than pro restaurants. That is to say, the food is too good to be pay-first! Vegetarian options: Lots of choices
Excellent service from the moment we walked in. The food is amazing, portion size is perfect. We had the Indian butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, chef's special chicken curry and mango lassi. Everything was superb I recommend Indian butter chicken, it's more like Indian traditional dish, not too sweet but has full of flavors! Would definetly visit this place again in the future.
Very good restaurant. The food is spot on and the helping size is good. One entrée can serve 2 people. The meat could be less bhunna is my only suggestion. The maitre de was extremely helpful and considerate. They are short staffed these days but the staff know what they are doing. It was a pleasure eating there.
The best ever Indian restaurant in Auckland hands down! Friendly staff with quick and efficient service. If you're dining in with a large group then make sure you have the whole group together as they don't hold seats or have a waiting area. Love their food and highly recommend to anyone who wants to try scrumptious authentic Indian food!

Came here on a whim and I’m so glad I did — everything was absolutely delicious! Especially the garlic cheese naan!! I will definitely come back anytime I’m in the area.Recommended dishes
Really delicious food and usually a great experience, but sadly we had a bad time here tonight. A 90+ minute wait to get our food, half the table who ordered before us got their meal 20 minutes earlier. Regrettably the employees were unable to offer any kind of compensation except some free salad which we didn't want. We were told the order went through as normal and there was no explanation they could think of why it took so long. Totally understandable it gets busy but the issue could've been resolved a lot better if responsibility was taken.
Wonderful food. Very tasty. Price are little higher but the quality and quantity are perfect.
