Honestly, I chose Practical as they were cheaper than the more familiar names. However the people who work at this branch are amazing. Helpful and courteous of course but they seriously went the extra mile. They offered me a lift to the station with my big cases and I heard them offer a family with children they same. My train had been affected by the strike so they helped me to call round taxi companies and looked after my luggage while I popped to get a drink. They looked after me as if I was a friend. I will never go anywhere else and I couldn’t recommend them highly enough! Thanks Practical!

We hired a van and in the first 3 miles a light trim fell off and they charged £63 including Vat that they claim back. These vehicles are stored on narrow highways around town where other road users and other people hiring them hit the panels and break the hidden clips, these panels fall off at a moments notice. We wont be recommending them to anyone including at work....Their loss. Check out the other poor reviews. Never use them again.
I've hired vehicles on a number of occasions, and have always been very happy. On this particular hire, the service from Eric was amazing, as he pulled out all the stops for me to hire the car that I needed. Thank you for everything, I will continue to use this great company. Highly recommended!
Efficient friendly service,, vehicles well maintained
Had to rent a van for a customer of mine in a hurry. The whole experience was 5 star from beginning to end. They will always be my go to for vehicle rental. Thanks for being so helpful
Really great service, friendly and helpful. Reasonable prices. The one thing that the website doesn't tell you is that they charge a deposit. Obvious I suppose but I didn't think about it and was surprised.

Very good rental conditions
Scammers. He charged me for alleged damage to a mirror, which I did not do and even pointed out when inspecting it beforehand. I'm livid but they somehow he still had my credit card details and the money had been taken already. What makes this worse is that a couple of weeks later I saw the same van down the junction and out of curiosity I had a look, only to find the so called damaged mirror was still there. I've been robbed of 60 quid!!!!! Just avoid this scammer, his ethics are non existent and I feel deeply insulted to have been scammed like this.
