Airways Motel

Jeff went out of his way to accommodate us for the week, as was only going to stay one night but changed my mind 2 hours later to see if my brother an I could stay the whole time he was out in NZ. Room was lovely and cozy with heater being on. Room was everything we needed and clean. The breakfast was well worth the money, just a shame we could not eat it all. I will be back to stay next time I'm up in Chch.

The owner Jeff thinks it's perfectly fine to knock once and walk on in at 7pm to fix a window latch. When I confronted him he said that he was allowed to and the door was unlocked I tried to make an official complaint to booking. Com and was told it was ok. And the road noise is horrendous. We have video of relentless traffic and noise Very tired room have pictures in case owner wants to comment just like other reviews we stay at alot of hotel/motels and this is a first. Be sure to check your electrical appliances as none have certs and our heater plug was burned out. Very dangerous pictures available

Came off Ferry Picton and drove to Christchurch. Stayed for 1 night. Owner was nice and friendly and also switched on the heater for us so our room was cozy warm: Room had everything we needed, clean and tidy, comfy bed, couldnt hear any traffic noise. Motel is close to supermarket, food places and Z petrol stationRooms: 5/5

We stayed one night, flew out of town leaving rhe car at the motel, and stayed a night on return. I was going to rate the motel down because of 1 major issue, but couldn't in the end. One issue is that the parking charges are for calendar days, starting at midnight, so if you leave 1 day and return the following then 2 days are charged. This isn't clear in the information provided. It also seemed a bit steep since we had bookended our trip staying at the motel. If we were just picking up the car and driving out that day I could understand. But - free transfers to and from the airport were relatively timely, great to be able to leave the car at the motel, very good cooked breakfast. Our first room was a bit tired, but second was better. Location is good to the airport, but when asking about dinner options we had to drive, which after a big day travelling wasn't what we wanted to hear. Would consider staying again the next time we are going through Christchurch Airport.

We checked in late and were given all the information we needed to check in well advance. The room was smart and had everything we needed for our short stay. In the morning the staff happily obliged with dropping us at the car rental place without any fuss as we hadn't mentioned it in advance. They were incredibly helpful in giving us information for our trip and just all round lovely people. Would happily stay there again and recommend booking with them directly.

We had change of plans, and needed to stay in CHCH another night, so made a booking online late morning for that night, was a simple transaction.. arrived in avo & all sorted.Rooms: 4/5

Jeff and Naomi provided an excellent service. Our flight was an early morning arrival and Jeff picked us up and took our bags to the motel while we explored Christchurch. The unit was very clean and the bed was so comfortable and this motel was great value for money. Highly recommend staying hereRooms: 5/5
