Walked into 99 Bikes Bentleigh for “just a look” and pondering the right bike for me …. and it all got dangerous from here … or should I say adventurous …somehow after two visits, I left with a Merida Scultura 4000…. helmet ,cleats ,water bottles gloves, bike bag and what appears to be the early stages of a cycling addiction.nBUT a HUGE thanks to the amazing Rob who was calm, professional and very experienced while I stood there nodding like I understood cycling terminology. Excellent service, zero pressure and somehow convinced me that voluntarily clipping my feet to pedals was a good idea. Rob you are an asset to the 99 Bikes team. Trust me there was no pressure and his demeanor chilled and knowledgeable say no more ...Highly recommend! Matilda sits happily in my lounge waiting for her 1st ride.
Paola gave great service in her understanding of the bike we were looking for, she kept us informed and advised the best quality for additional items around the bike. Even with her hurt wrist she put the effort to check the bike before test ride. She made sure that all opportunities of product is available. Good work.
I recently purchased a Cube Stereo Hybrid ONE77 SLX 800, and I honestly couldn’t be happier. The bike itself is an absolute weapon — insane specs, beautifully set up, and the price was heavily discounted to the point where it felt like I was robbing the place in the best way.nnThe real standout, though, was Doron. No pressure, no sales fluff, no nonsense. He actually knows the product inside out and took the time to walk me through the bike properly, answer every question, and make sure it was the right fit — not just an expensive upsell. That kind of expertise and straight-shooting attitude is rare these days.nnThe whole process was smooth, professional, and genuinely enjoyable. Setup was spot-on, advice was honest, and the value was exceptional.nnIf you’re even remotely serious about buying a quality bike and want someone who knows what they’re talking about, go to 99 Bikes Bentleigh and ask for Doron. Top-tier service, unreal value, and a bike that absolutely rips.
Massive thank you to Marco for the exceptional customer service and guidance through the world of bikes. Very happy with my Merida 5000 Endurance, adjusted perfectly to my size and kitted out with extra goodies. Highly recommend Marco and the rest of the friendly staff at Bentleigh for a well priced, non pressuring and informative experience.
Fantastic service and customer care from these guys recently‼I had my wheels stolen 4 months ago off my MTB so I spoke with the mechanics at 99 Bikes who were really efficient and friendly taking my Merida frame in to get it back on the road. New wheels, Maxxi Tyres, new disc brakes and rear cassette plus they put new pads in as well. Went from 29's to 27.5's better suited for my height. The bike looks amazing and rides beautifully The gears have been setup perfectly its faultless, actually feels like a new bike tbh. So a big thanx to Johhno, Donny, and the manager Alex for running such a great bike store. From dropoff to pickup it was 3 days I was expecting a week or two tbh. Highly recommended 100%
