I bought a brand new 2017 Merida Scultura from this shop and within the first year of owning the bike, they contacted me and told me they had sold me a product where the front fork could potentially crack and kill me while I ride it. So I brought the bike in to get the fork replaced by a fork that didn't match the original bike colour scheme and it took them roughly 4 weeks to replace the fork, so I was without a bike for quite some time. To top it off they were not able to replace the fork with the final fixed fork for about 6 months at least. I expected them to offer me a free service of the bike for the massive inconvenience and dangerous product that they sold me, but they refused to give me a free service as a show of good faith. This company seems to only be concerned about making a quick buck, rather than taking care of it's customers. I would not shop at this shop again.

We had a bit of a misunderstanding about the replacement of an item. The store manager was able to work something out and the issue was resolved. Bottom line, the store manager Micheal, was more concerned about keeping us happy and keeping us as customers than he was about making a quick sale. Happy to support the store in the future.

Was a little skeptical about going through a large chain, but despite being part of a large franchise these guys still have you that neighborhood bike shop vibe and attitude. Would absolutely recommend getting your bikes repaired here

Went in to 99 Bikes to get some tubes and tyre levers .... they have tubes but they didn't exactly have bicycle tyre levers so they tried to sell me a puncture repair kit. Conversation went to methods on how to replace tubes and was very patronized by staff. "I ALWAYS USE THESE" as he tries to tell me that he uses a puncher repair kit everytime he was a new tire tube into these wheel. I Have been changing tyres on bicycles for 40 years and don't need a lecture on best ways to fix tyre punctures. Just because you ran out of stock doesn't mean that you need to make fun of your customers. So I went to Giant - Brisbane Ride up the road and they were very helpful.

Very impressed with the staff at the service centre. Tim was knowledgeable, practical, experienced and very friendly.
