Stopped in for a quick bite and couldn't have enjoyed our meal more! Friendly, knowledgeable service, very pleasant atmosphere and the food was absolutely some of the best in Geelong! We shared five small dishes and each one was executed with a light touch, really making the most of each ingredient in an interesting and skillful way. Reasonably priced, this place is a hidden gem!

Food took a good 20-25 mins to arrive even in deep conversation it was noticable that it took some time for the food to arrive. The portions were relatively small more tapas style than restaurant serves. A bit overpriced 2 slices of grilled haluomi and three small grapes on top was $16 each for $6 or $7.The orange juice was not freh tasted exactly like just juice orange juice from the carton. The highlight of the night was the dessert. I would go back just for that peanut butter and chocolate praline. 10 out of 10 to whoever created that devine treat. If you want food like this go to Melbourne you'll get your money's worth with even better quality ingredients and taste.

We don't eat out much, as the cost of food usually outweighs the choice, and quality. However last night we had friends in town and they like to eat out. We chose Zigfrids, as it was close to work, the reviews were pretty good, and the Menu looked interesting. Well I have to tell you the food was the best I have ever had in Geelong. No Wagu beef, no Parma, no salted caramel anything, it was amazing. I was sorry we had friends and I had to refrain from that sneaky clean the plate with your finger when no one is looking, it was so good. It was tasty and creative, the service was good. I am not always a fan of shared plates, but there was plenty of each serving. The waitress did not roll her eyes when my husband and our guests kept asking questions, she was charming, and made us feel very comfortable. I have plenty of padding, and the chairs were a little industrial, but then again we stayed 3 1/2 hours, as the ambience of the place was amazing. I loved this place
