Casual relaxed seating, nice view of bay, food quality is high. Tiny 4-seat bar but lots of booze, prices are about 15-20% too high but that's goes with convenience of the attached hotel, being on the Esplenade and thus to social engineer the clientelle down. Better off driving to a place with more to offer, although Sat/Sun they open at 7 and the sun rises straight out over the water.

Had the privilege of eating breakfast here twice now. Haven't had the buffet brekkie, but their normal menu is amazing. Food is always fresh and service prompt. Will be back again.

Food tasted good and came out on time. But the gluten free meals came out with deep fried potato fries as a side that was confirmed to be cooked with non gluten free food

Eye fillet was very dry. For $39 it comes with 3 leaves as a side. The main salmon is more like a salad. Service poor. For a venue that claims to be high quality and charge the prices they charge the 1 star is for that reason. The food is better than 1 star but overall experience was poor and definitely not high end.

One of the worst dining experiences I have ever encountered. If you are looking for a disappointing experience look no further than Black Salt .. they will forget your orders, leaving you waiting, forget your drinks, blame tech issues... never mind actually doing their job and actually checking an order has gone through... I would HATE to see them on a busy night.. you may be thinking.. oh they must of been busy.. but no... there was maybe 4 tables !!! they are that bad, they can not handle a nearly empty restaurant. If you have a dinner booked cancel it... if you have a function booked, do yourself a favour and cancel it, find anywhere else! Mt favourite part was the manager Daniel "There is no need to be aggressive" this was in response to my comments It is not bloody good enough... " Something I still stand by considering the inept waitress brought out a single meal and didn't think that was weird ... even better was when she even admitted the SAME THING happened the night before... can you believe it? I couldn't....but there you go... Black Salt ladies and Gentlemen.. do yourself a favour and NEVER go here
