New Edit: Thanks for the reply, owner. Not sure how you can check for orders when I'd given no date of when I went in (was not today, obviously review is older). Definitely the right store, definitely ordered the 'Lamb Kebab Pizza' in gourmet menu and wedges. Please don't try to discredit customers reviews, they're there for you to better your store. Thanks. Original Review - As soon as we walked in we received very unfriendly customer service from a young woman that works there. Looked at us for a bit and said "Yeah?" Then proceeded to finally seat us in silence. Very awkward and not very friendly. Took our order, didn't seem very happy and we ordered the kebab pizza and wedges. Now when we received the food it looked delicious. Pizza was actually alright but the wedges were so over cooked that it was hard to bite into. Overall Its not somewhere I would stop into again but it wasn't horrible. 1/5 for service 2/5 for Pizza and Wedges we bought.

Wood oven pizza is one of the best place in geelong to eat pizza. Ambience is very nice and staff is really cooperative.They provide one of the best service in the city and if you like to drink alcohol then it is the best place to hangout and to have hangover 😀😀.

This place was amazing when I was a kid- you could taste the woodfire goodness, and the dips and bread were to die for. I took my husband there with high hopes and the place bore little resemblance to my childhood pizza joint. The dips were all creamy, and didn't taste different from one another. The pizza was so greasy- with literally, layers of fatty, cheap tasting cheese- and the prawns etc tasted fresh out of a freezer bag. The staff was nice, but I feel I should leave this review as an incentive to get some of the magic back. Fingers crossed!

Wood oven pizza is ok I used to love it but they have lost the flavour in the pizza , every time I get a pizza now there’s hardly any toppings on it an I pay $45 for 2 pizzas I asked for prosciutto on my pizza an I Literally got five crumbs of prosciutto on it with maybe five pieces of Avocado very disappointing put your game back together wood oven pizza . Update I i have received a phone call from wood oven pizza an it was a young girl she asked why I had made a bad review an I had told her why I had posted the review she then said back to me you had asked for a pizza that wasn’t on the menu.. I replied back saying if the pizza wasn’t on the menu then don’t tell customers that you can make it .. I said to her that you shouldn’t have sent out the pizza the way it was made, with Hardly any prosciutto or avocado ..I told her that I was very disappointed in the pizza, and the waiter was very blunt sounded like she didn’t want to talk an couldn’t Speak up at all to resolve the problem she asked if I wanted the pizza replaced but I had said no thanks an she hung up the phone very bluntly .
