Highly disappointed with the staff. They showed racism on us and kicked off the pub. Never ever go to this one if you are not an Australian. The management is poor and staff behaved similar to street dogs. They didn’t even deserve one star. If you are from other country please do not prefer this one.
Great chill place to drink during the day. Kicks off after dark
The girl worker with long blonde hair was really friendly and helped us pick drinks throughout the night. Definitely left a good impression for this venue.
The server was a little cold when we walked in, but the other lad was nice and prepared drinks very well. Cocktails were yummy, exactly as expected.
Honestly the best place in Geelong for a beer. You come to captains and they serve you promptly and efficiently. The security are happy to encourage a safe but fun night, and the bar staff are not only friendly,but they know you are in a Great environment and look after you accordingly. Great place. Reccomend
Good atmosphere but staff were so pushy with drinks it was so off putting not to mention irresponsible. My drink got taken from my table half full and wasn’t replaced I got offered to get ‘half the price’ refunded instead. disappointing
Got to see a wicked fight near by, the bouncer did a great job. Not sure who the guy was, but he kept saying do you know who I am? Not sure. Great selection of drinks and clean bathroom. Cheers
Ahh yes Captains is a quaint and rustic little gem, great for people who like a music mix of different genres like tech house, disco etc but my favourate thing is this bar features a caravan bar that serves Melbourne long necks!
i order the chilli infused cocktail but when it arrived it only had capsicum in it yet it was $19 very disappointed, not spicy at all
GREAT service, especially from bartender Jim. Also great vibe, love the venue <3
