Great service and atmosphere. For someone that's not a local, I was made very welcome by the regulars. Live music was very entertaining, and their Irish parmigiana was the best I've tasted.
Staff were friendly but the restaurant lighting was appalling and people kept moving so that they could actually read the menu. TV was on kickboxing, not exactly the background you want for a Sunday dining experience. Roast of the day lamb was full of gristle and tasted like it was a re-heated meal. Roast potatoes were just awful. Tables were sticky - get a neutral detergent to clean them. Non neutral detergents/cleaners eg pine o clean leave a sticky residue. Overall, for the price, was not a great experience.
Went here for dinner with my wife, started off fine, service was friendly and the entree was acceptable calamari, was a little rubbery but tasted fine. The mains were terrible, steak was chewy, had large sinew in it and was unseasoned, seemed to be cooked ok medium. The parmy was dry and small. Chips were average.
Whilst most of us were very happy with our meals the gnocchi was dry and not soft and pillowy as home made should be. Oh and the waiter took one of our friends meal before they finished their steak as they had gone to loo. They wernt happy not at $40 odd $$$. His knife and fork were still in the I’m not Finnished position yet they still took meal before anyone realized. Flooring abit tricky up and down abit of a trip hazard
Beautiful food and cocktails, and amazing service - so friendly! The view from the rooftop is lovely, the atmosphere is laid-back and inviting. Worth every cent. We'll be back
