Reviews on this place weren’t great but I was pleasantly surprised. Rooms are looking a bit tired but are spacious and bathroom was modern. Bed was fantastic! Service was very good, nice little bar and restaurant downstairs and good location. I would happily stay here again.
The carpet was very dusty!nThe bed was too soft.nThe air con could not be changed much.nThe room stunk.nThe mirrors were dirty. Had to be clean before being able to put my make up on.nThe toilet was too close to the shower glass.nBathroom way too small.nNot enough car park and the list goes on
Great hotel. My home away from home when in Geelong. All staff at Reception are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and tidy and the bedding is oh so comfortable. The buffet breakfast has everything you need to start the day. The restaurant staff special mention to Junie and Chevy are always so welcoming and friendly. I'll be back again soon and ordering the fillet steak. It is divine.
The room have seen better days, it's showing its age. The beds are also on there last legs really need new mattress.nVery basic kettle, limited tea option.nThe toilet had a flushing issue had to fiddle with it to make it stop flushing.nA great location close to everything. Can walk to many restaurants etc.nHaven't had breakfast yet, hope that's going to improve my disposition but it's wait and taste.nThe pool was not attractive. Could not find the supposed gym. Did read that the spa was also not working.
The staff here are absolutely lovely—welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. I honestly don’t understand how this hotel is legally advertised as a 4-star property while charging premium rates, as it barely meets a 2-star standard. I’ve stayed in budget motels that were far superior. The entire place is in desperate need of an upgrade.nnOne of the main reasons we booked this hotel was the pool, but it turned out to be laughably small—completely inadequate for the number of guests. The room’s furniture was outdated, covered in scratches and stains, making the space feel neglected. As for our “bay view” room, it was a complete scam. The view was barely there, and the window was so dirty, scratched, and stained that we could hardly see through it anyway.nnOverall, this hotel is an overpriced disappointment. We felt ripped off and have no desire to stay here again.
