Absolutely awful experience. Ordered a burger,nTook one bite and had to spit it out—completely inedible. The meat smelt off and had to take it back.nIf food safety isn’t a priority here, I won’t be coming back. Avoid at all costs.
Booked table at 5.30pm before the 7.30pm Matilda’s game we ordered at 5.45pm didn’t received food till 6.50pm . Iv never tasted meatballs with cumin in them , mains where on the smaller size chicken snizle was burnt around the edges and quiet small for a main with a hand full of chips . we had to eat and run there was possibly only another 6 tables when we where there but no apologies from waiters for the long delay
Popped in for a drink as we were early for a booking at another venue. We ordered a round and as we went to sit down I noticed my plastic cup was dirty. I went to the bar and pointed it out and was rudely told by a member of staff that 'as it plastic it is scratched and can look dirty', she turned to the other staff member and said, just get her another one in a glass. Like I was such a problem! I could and did show that the muck on it could be rubbed off.nWe were then asked to move tables because the one we sat on was booked. There was about 12 people in the entire venue at the time.n$5 for a tiny cup of soft drink! Terrible service.nWon't be back again.
What a huge disappointment..... Food was ordered after confirming what was and wasn't available, no eggs for example just go buy some eggs drinks were ordered, after confirming my choice of the only beer on tap left. Food arrived quickly, but was average at best. Old oil ensured everything had that greasy smell and taste.. fries were over done and salad, well. Two halves of an iceberg lettuce leaf and chunky tomato and cucumber does not a salad make. I get it was a Sunday, but at least have someone who can cook working in the kitchen. It wasn't expensive but still wasn't worth it, management, having read some of your replies to reviews, instead of justifying your poor excuse for a pub, just do better, pay staff better, and have management get out from behind the computer and see your running the place into the ground.
The food was average .nnThere was a delay of 1 hour from ordering food to receiving mains .nnWhat was most disappointing in the evening, was the waiter who was not polite and had poor attitude . He had poor etiquette and demeanour .nnHe also declined entertainment book when it came to pay and made some excuse that they don't accept entertainment book and was not professional. Why advertise in the entertainment book if you don't accept it ?nnIt was very disappointing evening on the whole.
