Had a pleasant couple of nights here when visiting friends and staff were friendly. The location is great, being within walkin distance of local eateries, cinema and other amenities. The room was very clean, was well appointed and it was a good size. . Breakfast was very average, mainly due to milk for cereal being warm and eggs, bacon etc being cold. They did however cook some fresh eggs upon request. Only other criticism was that our room service tray wasn't collected and sat outside our room door for two days, even though we had notified staff to collect it twice. Simple things like that reflect poorly, thus the lower rating for service. We would certainly stay here again.

On arrival our large group was welcomed warmly and with no hesitation. All our rooms were ready when we arrived well before the check-in time which was fantastic.nnThe rooms are spacious and well appointed with everything you need. The king size beds are really comfy and they have a great selection of pillows to suit pretty much anyone. The one thing I will note is I found the rooms slightly stuffy/warm, to the point I was actually using the cooler rather than the heater, a calling fan wouldn’t go astray.nnThe hotel itself has a consistent fresh and welcoming design throughout and isn’t just left to the rooms. The lounge, bar, restaurant on level 1 is a great space to sit back and relax outside your room.nnWith the holiday inn there is finally another choice for travellers when it comes to this style hotel in Geelong.
Excellent place to stay. Everything new. Friendly staff. Great room, super comfy, nice design.nnMinor issues - breakfast buffet was ordinary as these things tend to be - large range instead of quality. Room smelt a bit funny at first - sense it was new air con but soon abated once air con put on. Would stay again.
easy parking at weekends, the staffs warm and friendly, the room even cleaner than 5 stars hotel, neat tidy and comfortable. Recommended the breakfast clean, balanced nutrition even you can make fresh juice by yourself. Will be here next time
