Really great stay. Staff offered amazing service. Food for breakfast was very good, dinner was okay very minimal plant based options.nRooms modern, clean and spacious. Really nice.nOnly reason for 4 stars instead of 5, rooms didn't offer much sound proofing. You could hear thumping footsteps above and next door joining room loud talking. Staff assisted well with ensuring quiet during late hours.nOverall, I recommend this hotel.
I had a great stay at Holiday Inn Geelong! The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city and close to all the shops. The swimming pool was clean and relaxing, and the buffet staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and I’d definitely recommend it
I can’t fault this hotel. Everything was well kept, modern and clean. Thoughtful touches. Bathroom spacious and the shower DIDN’T leak! Beds very comfortable. Easy check in. Very quiet and never heard other guests.
Nice newish hotel. Buffet breakfast available which is not bad. Indoor pool and gym. Not far from the beach and restaurants/cafes. I would just ask the housekeeping staff to keep an eye out for stained sheets.
Had a pleasant couple of nights here when visiting friends and staff were friendly. The location is great, being within walkin distance of local eateries, cinema and other amenities. The room was very clean, was well appointed and it was a good size. . Breakfast was very average, mainly due to milk for cereal being warm and eggs, bacon etc being cold. They did however cook some fresh eggs upon request. Only other criticism was that our room service tray wasn't collected and sat outside our room door for two days, even though we had notified staff to collect it twice. Simple things like that reflect poorly, thus the lower rating for service. We would certainly stay here again.
