Big refurb, everything is shnazzy and modern. I’ve stayed several times for work and also chosen to stay on holiday. Very comfy full sized beds, no dodgy single mattress pushed together. Great pillows. Decent tv is easy to stream. I’ve never had any noise issues. Breakfast buffet is tasty and plentiful with custom egg orders. Metered street parking is easy to find. The table service restaurant downstairs is very nice and the bar menu is reasonably priced and well staffed. Walking distance to all the good things in the cbd
This is a great place for a couple as well as for big families we saw during our stay. We went for a birthday out and stayed two nights there which was really great. New modern interior rooms and everything was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Neve from reception is amazing and truly cares for the guests. Great bar staff too!!nPool area is quiet and well maintained. Hotel wifi is super fast and that bed felt like a cloud. So comfy!We loved every minute of our stay and definitely book again when we are back in Geelong.
Second time staying at Holiday Inn & Suites Geelong, and the service has once again been excellent. The team is always warm and welcoming from check-in to check-out.nnThere was a minor cleanliness oversight during this stay, but it was handled very professionally. Shayan, the Front Office Manager, followed up personally and ensured the matter was resolved with genuine care.nnThank you to the front office team — Kartik, Lalit, and Dilip — for the great service and hospitality. Happy New Year to the entire team, and I look forward to staying again.
Great location.nOne of the best rooms I've been in for the price. Comfy bed. Selection of labelled pillows soft, firm etc.nBreakfast was fantastic for the extra $50 for 2. Service was courteous.nClean and modern. Easy on-street parking out front.nEnd room 17 was quite bright at night due to the windows facing the street. This was the only drawback.nWould definitely stay again.
Best hotel experience of my life, the entire building is brand new, not renovated, I mean it's a new building!!! Beautifully designed rooms with king sized bed and massive shower. No cheap split systems on the walls, it's all ducted heating and cooling. I will be back another time to try out your breakfast and swimming pool. Guys at the front desk were so nice.
