The cost of parking was only advised to me after I had paid for the room.nThe sheets were short sheeted with the doona between top sheets only coming as far as our stomachs. The sheets barely reached our shoulders.nA bedside light was missing.nThe alarm clock was so bright at night we had to put it under the bed under a pillow.nEverything was great.
We stayed in the deluxe king room with a bay view at Novotel Geelong for the weekend, and it was so relaxing. The staff were welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The view from our room was stunning—absolutely to die for, and we loved watching the bay morning and night.nnThe hotel breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of options and delicious fresh juices. We spent a lot of time enjoying the hotel’s amenities, especially the pool and steam room, which were both clean and inviting.nnThe location is perfect, with the waterfront, restaurants, and shops all within walking distance. Parking was convenient, and it was easy to get to all the local attractions. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well-decorated, with everything we needed for a perfect weekend getaway.nnOverall, our stay at Novotel Geelong exceeded our expectations, and we left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. We can’t wait to come back for another relaxing weekend. Highly recommend!
Great experience at the Novotel. Room was absolutely devine, well laid out with a day bed. Unfortunately my trip this time was short so I didn't get to experience a bit of relaxation.nTV had plenty of options including movies.nBuffet Breakfast had all you expected of a buffet. Fresh and plenty of options.nLocation was great. Able to park and walk to nearby restaurants and the local Westfield.
This hotel is perfectly located opposite Eastern Beach. It's walking distance to shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants. Our balcony room was directly opposite the beach, and we often sat on the spacious balcony just taking in the glory of a sunset, and occasionally a sunrise. The room was comfortable with good amenities. We also ate in the Tempo restaurant, which had a good menu choice. We booked dinner for 7pm, but we weren't made aware the kitchen closes at 8.30pm, and were left sitting waiting for our waiter to clear our table so we could order desert the waiters were nowhere to be found after 8.20pm. Fortunately we found a staff member who went into the kitchen and brought back two deserts for us to take to our room. That's good service! Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will happily return in the near future.
From arriving in the pouring rain to leaving in the sunshine, service was amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious and very comfortable. The bar and restaurant had a great selection of food and drinks and breakfast offered a great variety.
