Great location to beach and cafes.nRooms were nice and comfortable.nStaff service was shocking. Asked for room to done while we were out for the day. Came back bed unmade no coffee milk or sugar. Rang for service and was told they had gone home for the day. Had to go down to reception to collect coffee.nConsidering what we paid for the room and length of stay would expect better service. Travel alot and will no be coming back here again.
We arrived and my first impression was nice. Then when reaching the room the air-conditioning was set at 17.5 down to get that changed way too cold. 8.50pm and no room Service offered and the restaurant was closing.nHaving said that the bed was amazing . Next morning down for breakfast which was included but we had to pay for a Barista coffee. In all my years as an Accor member I have never paid for a coffee.nThe hotel is in a great position , easy to walk around Geelong .
Large modern room with a beautiful view of the bay and foreshore. Stylish, minimalistic decor, blackout curtains, perfect air con, clean and light filled with a balcony. Staff were delightful. Breakfast in the lovely restaurant was fabulous. A wonderful stay in a perfect location between the beach and shopping precinct.
The Novotel has been upgraded since our last visit - very nice! However a really simple request of a bowl to be brought up to the room by the night staff was surprisingly bad - I was brought a plate and told there was nothing else they could do. If the night manager decided to use his legs and walk twenty metres to the restaurant, he could have obtained a bowl. Aside from this poor service, everyone else was great, from Adam at concierge, Noah on front desk and Lily and Ava in Tempo, we had pretty great service all round.nnLooking at the most recent reviews, it's a shame as a Gold member you don't get treated as well as a Silver member.
Perfect location to celebrate Australia Day. Room was neat and tidy, however bed was very hard. Staff were friendly and tried to be accommodating, although had to wait over 20 mins for our car valet parking. Awesome view of a large Australia Day flag from our balcony.
