Are you kidding? My husband and I get out on a date night only a handful of times a year and decided on Saturday night that Zafferanos would be the place so we could enjoy some oysters and watch Perth as he sun set. We get there and we’re informed as we go to order oysters that they have run out....what the??? The excuse was Valentine’s Day and a large function they had that day....what???? So reluctantly we chose a couple of entrees that took 40+ minutes to come out. I eat gluten free only so got the dips in the “fresh bread” section only to get 4 slices of gluten free toast to go with the dips.... From there we had average squid that tasted as though it had been in the freezer too long and the seafood plate as my mains was something I could’ve knocked up at home from the seafood sitting in my freezer. My husbands rib eye was cooked to perfection and he enjoyed it so that was a positive of the night. In all have no idea how a restaurant like this can keep running with so much competition in and around Perth. The view I suppose? Won’t be eating there again.

Excellent view.However, Prawn dishes are fairly average and small portion for its price. Aged steak is a delight;its priced between $49-64.5. We re two people and paid nearly $200 for dinner, just expect a bit more.

Good food and service. A fan or two would be good in the early evening when the river breeze is missing

Been three times in the last few months. The service is nothing like it used to be in the past. The food is ok, but for the price is by no means as casual stop for most. the view is great. The restaurant has always been rather empty so easy to get in even on the day. By the way not kid friendly - perhaps consider another venue with the younger cohort unless they will sit for the entire time without moving from their seats! Not going back in a hurry.

Shared lunch with our Contractors at Zafferano today, fabulous venue, food and service. I sincerely recommend this in every way. Thank you!
