We give 5 ✨ to wait staff but food was average. We have been traveling across Perth for a real Indian taste but so far disappointed. Still have few restaurants to go to and also find find only a couple good one.
This was a good ambiance but lacked in taste. 
I would give 3 and half overall.

Good food let down by the service.
The food served here was excellent but the service was bloody useless.
The staff seemed in a hurry. They rushed. 
Hands everywhere. At one stage one of our party hadn't finished a drink and the wait staff tried to take his glass from his hand. 
Now onto the worst part of the experience.
Hot curry was deposited down the back of another of our party. 
Accidents happen but at no time did the manager approach us to apologise.
At the end of the evening we had to enter into horse trading to sort the problem of soiled clothing from the spilled curry. 
And to cap off the whole experience we were served coffee with cream that was off.

Food were delicious & tasty. Service was prompt. Ambience was good. Prices were a bit expensive. But will still consider to visit again in near future.

Bit odd location, if you want to walk here from central. Great ambiance. Good people, taste and choices.

We love the Royal India but we got a definite feeling that it was being run by new/different owners When we were seated I noticed there was a lot of food on the floor near to and around our table My husband had the seek kebabs which were slightly undercooked and rather greasy a bit disappointing My onion bajhees were delicious The curry's we ordered were OK but not as good as we remembered them from our last visit perhaps there has been a change of chef in the kitchen We were very surprised how much we were charged for a bottle of sparkling water yikes that bumped up our bill especially as we ordered two...... This used to be a favourite of ours in the city but I don't think we shall be rushing back Unfortunately I've had just as good if not better and cheaper locally where we live The most annoying thing all night were the waitresses who were circling and trying to grab plates off the table before we'd finished I think they need to back off and chill out its uncomfortable especially as I'm a slow eater
