Unresolved DisputenI am still waiting 4 months for a refund for my child who attended swimming and gymnastics earlier in the year. I have been constantly back and forth in emails and calls with different staff each time to receive my 6x credits back! I was told you would give me these credits back in a form of a refund as you lost staff and the few staff that remained couldn't not accommodate with the over crowded joined classes of 7-8 kids in a small single lane of the pool. This is not ok. We were offered the 6 credits to go towards gymnastics but this was on the last week of the year! How is this possible? We certainly will not return next year. Classes often got changed without our knowledge on different days and with different staff members. Note to any families wanting to join the swimming or gymnastics programs DO NOT pay in advance.nI am still awaiting my money back after several occasions your staff said I would so please respond to one of my email and deposit my money. Thank you
I am a member of the ymcanAlthough the gym is okay, I’m finding the pool needs a lot of attention.nLonger hours,nOpen when they say they are,nClean showers,nNo algae and stains in pool.nKids pool a eye sore and slightly a hazard.nPlease fix this all up
The YMCA Victoria Point swim school is magic! My children have had the pleasure of having lessons with Miss Natasha, Miss Alex, Miss Tracey, Miss Katrina and Mr Keelan. The work they do is outstanding and I have had the pleasure of watching my children progress so well with this team. Please never change. You are amazing!
**Updated I have now left this gym, as has my partner, I feel less triggered now because I’m free **nnEquipped with nearly everything, but every bit of equipment is taken.. by over 70s having a rest.nI know what you’re thinking “do something else”nnOk I’ll go do some boxing… hang on can’t go in that room because there’s a class on in 30 mins rooms empty no lights on so I move on.nnMaybe I’ll go for a swim? Head outside and shower get changed and hop in there’s about 9 other people in the pool and an instructor over loud speaker “excuse me sir pools closed”nnSo I get back out.nnI’ve been nothing but disappointed with this gym and I keep giving it more chances hoping it’s just a bad day but nope… every day it’s got new rules that seem even more ridiculous than the last and nobody can keep up.nnThis isnt a serious gym, it’s a money making operation that prioritises quantity over quality every day.nThe more people in the door for more pathetic classes the better.nIt’s a place to catch up and hang out with other like minded 70 year olds and babble on about your grandkids and the new anti wrinkle cream you’re trying.nnIf management would help me cancel my membership I would happily do so and not returnnnIt nearly needs a warning sign placed out the front to warn people of the misrepresentation they are about to walk into.nnI have a constructive suggestion for VIC PT YMCAnMaybe change your business model and remarket your brand to show what you really are.. an over priced cafe with a Russian roulette sweaty oily pool you can soak in only at random times.
Great gymnastics program for kids of all ages with patient instructors who work well with kids. Admin are very friendly and easy to communicate with. Also want to praise them for their clean toilets.
