This is my second favourite restaurant in Melbourne. Best sushi around, every element is perfect. The bento box is also excellent value, and the katsu don is always a good choice. Down to earth, cheap and tasty food. Just come prepared with cash and understand the service will be basic and it's a small hole in the wall spot.

Love this place's food! I haven't eaten any better  Japanese casual dishes than here. Staff are always nice and friendly. The only drawback is the store doesn't use AC so it can be quite hot during the day.

Yebisu is an absolute delight of a place. The food is always fresh and delicious. My favourite is the Sushi Bento Box, a cornucopia of awesomeness. Cannot recommend highly enough. Great Japanese takeaway.
