Trying to get to a consultant on the phone line is quite difficult but we eventually got there after 5 attempts of pressing different options. The consultants are nice but you basically go through several dead ends to reach them. Please improve your call centre options and make consultants easier to access.
I reported a leaked tap on the flow meter over the phone on day one to Yarra Valley Water, and it was fixed on the following day! Cannot sing high enough for a company with great efficiency and effort. Happy customer!
As others complained the water is very expensive by YV water, additionally the usage shown is highly suspicious, compared to my previous rental they are claiming huge amount of water used when we barely use water. Another issue is the water is very dirty! Lots of brown sediment just install a water filter and see for yourself it clogs very quickly!
A big shout out to the team from Urban Formula who are working in my street and came and turned off a tap that had been running for nearly 24 hours. I have a broken arm. They were very helpful and efficient.
Ladan from the Customer Care Relations team was friendly, helpful and informative in explaining a very complicated and unusual water meter setup, at a rental property that I manage as a real estate agent. My experiences with other water providers’ customer service teams are that they’re blunt, unhelpful and try to make the conversation as short as possible - so my experience with Ladan from YVW was a breath of fresh air! Thanks so much Ladan and the team!
Our meter was buried and therefore was not read correctly yet they still expect us to pay 5x our normal bill even though we weren't even home for 2 months and therefore used no water whatsoever. We have had a plumber out to check for leaks of which there are none yet they still refuse to accept responsibility. Disgraceful.
Really quick to attend to our needs and correctly inform us of the condition of our water pipes. Really saved us on wasting $8000 on a repair of a pipe that was not cracked that one of the plumbers of another company told us about, about the crack.
Customer service is always excellent and a hard working team to be respected greatly but the number of water outages on Mount Waverley is very concerning. At least once - twice a month. This week. 3 times. I end up having to leave the area to shower- toilet so all the family can use the toilet. It appears the infrastructure is in need of updating. Mount Waverley was built in the 60s and appears significant degradation on pipes is occurring or is it is the sheer number of new developments puttong pressure on old infrastructure ? I cant be sure but outages are getting commonplace.
At first I wasn’t at all happy with you guys when I simply rang & asked you to simply remove my deceased Mother’s name off the bill but after arguing three times you guys did allow us to create a new account just in mine & my Brother’s name only: So considering you didn’t even have a copy of Mum’s death summary so I give you top marks for removing her name: I would like you guys to give Moreland council bad feedback considering they Do have Mum’s death summary & my Power of Attorney but they still haven’t removed Mum’s name from their damn rates bill. I am Not at all happy with them full stop!
They are awful. They are charging me without receiving any service. I have never ever contacted them or asking to provide any service. They sent me an invoice under my name for a property I have never ever lived in. I am still waiting for their response, however, they haven’t even reply to my email, neither getting my calls.
