Knox City Council

Worst hard rubbish system just sits out for days whilst their contractor takes their time collecting. How hard is it to be given just a set date all other waste services can give a date. Rubbish spills onto the streets and after scavengers spread it across the nature strip. You would think for all the land grabbing they are doing they could afford to do a better service for the community, perhaps we need to become a councilor then things might move.

This Council has got to be the WORST of its kind, nearly 30 years on WYNETTE AVE UPPER FERNTREE GULLY and KNOX COUNCIL is yet to pave WYNETTE AVE. They just continue to fill pot holes with gravel which runs down our driveways blocking our drains causing floods in our homes. After countless complaints, emails and a petition and constant damage to our vehicles and homes, they are yet to pave the road and have no intentions of doing so in the near future, excuse after excuse Our insurance premiums are escalating so are our cleaning and plumbing bills to remove the gravel ..Today l called the council AGAIN and was told its up to our local councillor , since we have a new local councillor and fortunately we know of him , we will bring this to his attention and see if by some miracle he can resolve this 30 year issue once and for all !!!

Bunch of hopeless bimbos going round in circles drinking cups of tea all day Community relationship area have no interest in community groups. Just lies and broken promises

Like most councils, Knox City Council works hard to meet community expectations in terms of service provision under the challenges imposed upon them by state government in terms of policy and rate capping. So be kind to your local council employees. In my experience, the vast majority really do care about their community.
