Wynnum Chempro Chemist

My wife went in to fill a script for me and the pharmacist that saw her was very snippy and short. I’ve been struggling on crutches for the last week and wasn’t able to walk into the store myself as I had almost slipped in the car park outside and needed a minute to recover. Because of this, my wife went to enquire about the wheel chair hire and the pharmacist was extremely unhelpful and rolled her eyes at my wife’s enquiry. Could not have been less helpful and made my wife feel like a burden. This same pharmacist was also making openly judgemental remarks about other clients in front of the other customers. We will not be patronising this chemist anymore after that. It’s such a shame when your front counter staff have always been so great.

Please be aware that the owner of this chemist is incredibly greedy my daughter needed to get a rapid test for overseas travel. We had no problem paying $45 for the test to be administered by the pharmacy. We had a brand new unopened officially certified rapid test already however the pharmacist forced us to pay $50 for another rapid test from his own store rather than to accept the one already purchased. To me this seems like a simple case of profiteering and this will be the last dollar Chempro Wynnum Plaza will ever receive from me.

All the staff and pharmacists really do go above and beyond. There have been a few times where I have made it hard for them to meet my needs but they always do. They certainly make sure that I am looked after even when I cannot get to the store and this has made my life just that little easier. Thankyou

Excellent chemist - the staff here care about people and have gone out of their way to assist me with answering questions and getting my covid booster. The staff are knowledgeable, efficient and helpful. I would definitely recommend to anyone as their first chemist they contact for any needs!

Excellent experience re the Moderna booster. Very well run customer centric service. The pharmacy also has a good range of medical equipment such as knee crutches and does passport photos. Top marks.

Got a script filled and a few other items. No itemised receipt but the total seemed way too much. After about 20 mins of trying to work out why with the staff, they said they would match chemist warehouse on the script. They charged us a whopping $16.50 more than chemist warehouse for one script. I support and trust local business but not this one any more after finding out how much they price gouge on script….. very disappointing

When we changed pharmacies about 12 months ago, Hany was wonderful. He contacted our previous pharmacy and arranged for our prescriptions to be transferred to him. Since then Hany & his friendly staff have been wonderful. Fantastic advice, always friendly & committed to looking after all of their customers. We highly recommend them.
