The QV team of wooly is the best of the best in Melbourne or maybe AUS. They are very friendly and knowledgeable about the products and very helpful when I get lost in there or finding my products.nnEspecially want to mention the wugu beef lasagna by wooly …. It is so delicious and yummy thanks . it’s good to share with 2-3 people and the taste is spot on but just need a little dash of salt and pepper then it is just define and mamma Mia.nnAlso one staff member handsome but very professional of his job is Daniel he is so good at his job and always got a big smile on his face at work , very hard working and I can tell he is a very good at his job and always helping his colleagues when the other staffs got stuck or difficult. I don’t know what position is he at the shop but I reckon he is far more excess his job responsibilities and management skills and strategy, and his customer service is very good and professional. There a huge variety of grocery items here. Prices are reasonable and very fresh produce. You could pick up a meal on the go, or get creative making up a 5 course menu to impress.

Great supermarket in the city, clean and huge with wide aisles that are well stocked.nLots of convenient food options as well as staples.nWe did not try the sushi which looked nice, but there are so many better choices elsewhere in the area even right outside this woolies that is priced better and that is made fresh. I guess it is good if you are doing a one stop shop or if you want sushi later in the evening when other shops are closed.nThe bread and pastries are all fresh and nice.nThe check out area is huge. We counted 48 checkout counters in total! Most are self serve as usual.nWhen you enter from street level, there is a door next to the entrance that shows “Woolworths and big w”. If you enter and take the escalators downstairs, it saves you a lot of trouble of having to walk through the QV centre to find a different escalators that take you to the supermarket.nThere is also a big W next door which is handy for the cbd.
During a last-minute grocery run, we purchased two items in bulk quantities. To avoid scanning each item one by one and to help streamline the checkout process, we requested assisted checkout. At the time we asked for help, it was not yet 11 PM, so we were well within store hours and made the request with consideration for the approaching closing time.nnA brunette staff member named Elizabeth assisted us, but her approach came across as dismissive. She roughly handled the items, tossing them back into the basket, and did not acknowledge us after completing the scanning—no eye contact, no confirmation, not even a simple “thank you” or “you’re good to go.”nnWhile we understand it was close to closing and staff may have been tired, basic courtesy and professionalism were lacking in this interaction. Some additional customer service training may be helpful, particularly around end-of-day interactions and maintaining respectful, communicative service throughout the shift.
