I would like to commend Grace the lady in the menswear department. My brother was doing some last minute shopping for a suit to attend a wedding in 2 days due to his lost luggage when flying in from Europe. Want to publicly thank two assistants in the women’s clothing section who helped entertain my high energy toddler in a beautiful way so that I was actually able to try a number of items on and then buy 3 pieces of clothing. Really felt like buying some new outfits for the new year and these ladies made it possible. Thank you so very much.
Amazing customer services. When I buy there I fell confident, I know if product is not good I ban return with out questions. The online shop provide as well competitive prices and I happy to buy online as I know I have confidence with David jones.
I've been a customer for last 8 years for David jones, Chatswood. Customer service provided by a lady staff Karen in beding section was very Rude and Racist. She continously ignored us for long time, she was eating while assisting us, asked 'are you even buying?' but she took proper care after I told her what she is doing is wrong and I wasn't happy with her service. Her manager Monique was even worst, uncourteous and very rude. Despite karen agreeing on $2900 for a bed, Monique wanted $3500 for same product. Manager was ignorant while serving us as Karen was off duty already. Being a customer for almost a decade, I belive David jones needs better staff and we deserve better customer service by staff!
On 8 September 2022 I returned some recent purchases to David Jones Chatswood. I had made the purchases on 4 September 2022 when the stock was 20% off. Later on that day I received an email to say the same stock was reduced by 40% on and from 5 September 2022. When I returned the stock I was attended to by a beautiful young man by the name of Sam. This gentleman provided me with outstanding customer service and even offered me the opportunity to re-purchase the same stock at the reduced price which I politely declined. I give Sam FIVE stars. Thank you Sam. Unfortunately as I attempted to exit level one of the store I once again encountered an under-cover security officer who was not wearing any identification until he later removed his jacket cardigan. The security officer was later identified as Ehan. At the same time as the approach by Ehan a rude woman who later was identified as Frances from Country Road Concession intervened for reasons unknown. Neither Ehan or Frances would allow me to exit the store without an inspection of my personal belongings. I give Ehan and Frances one star to be shared. At this point I insisted on meeting with the store manager. A gentleman by the name of Pierre attended shortly thereafter and independently resolved the situation and allowed me to exit the store after confirming I had not made any purchases. I left the store feeling very disappointed and saddened by the incident. It has reinforced my belief that David Jones is a store of last resort. Only to be visited when the merchandise I want is not readily available elsewhere. I have addressed my concerns about the woman identified as Frances separately on the Country Road website. David Jones Chatswood used to be a pleasant store in which to browse and shop but I have noticed a considerable decline over recent years. I would really appreciate it if someone could explain to me why I am repeatedly suspected of shop lifting. It makes the shopping experience most unpleasant. I have no interest whatsoever in taking anything from the store which I have not paid for. All the best.
Went to DJ Chatswood Chase on Black Friday to get Jura coffee machine. Served by Nadia, the friendliest and kindest check out staff on the hectic Black Friday sale. She also explained and quickly draw for me how to go to DJ's parcel pick up at Chatswood Chase parking, to make sure I won't missed the turn.
I am very disappointed. Jo the manager was very unhelpful and inflexible. The whole experience was negative, when we tried to talk to the lady at the perfume section she basically yelled at us to wait for the Dior lady to come and when we tried to buy Christmas things they were rude and made my mum cry.
David jones Chatswood selling fake iPhone, I don’t even know how did they get it. I bought 2 iPhones here last week, and now both of them doesn’t work, one of them even came cracked. They helped me through Apple Genius Bar for me, they says serial number for both iPhones DOES NOT EVEN MATCH. And now I can’t even get my $4000 + back. How disappointed. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO ANY DAVID JONES TO BUY ANYTHING. The service was also slow, I have to keep chasing them up, so they can get fix.
Sorry the worst store to do click and collect. I bought items paid by djs Amex and asked to be gift wrapped with a message. All packages were gift wrapped no message anywhere to me seen outside. Now I have 15 gifts wrapped I do not know which one is for who as djs chatswood staff forgot to put the message on the gift. Now one week away for Christmas how inconvenient is this. Can’t they get something this simple right?? Just frustrated, angry and irritated as I need to drive again all the way from Carlingford to chatswood to get the gifts re wrapped . And they better fix this for me.
Huge props to Elijah from the MJ Bale section - he was so incredibly helpful with my partner and I. Really had such a positive impact and we were left feeling so happy with our purchases - top notch customer service!
