Food came in hot, which was great! Ordered Massaman curry and it was okay. They gave lots of meat and veggies which was nice. Sauce was not as thick as I would've expected and beef strips made for chewier bites. Some of the potatoes were undercooked so were still a bit tough. Overall, it's okay. Money bags were tasty. Delicious filling.
Always a winner. Loved the chicken satay, prawn spring rolls and beef stir fry we had for dinner last night. Have been several times and we'll be back
Authentic Thai Food. Very good price and good quantity. We bought Pad thai, yellow curry and stir fry and were excellent in taste. Worth trying if you around Papakura or Takanini.
Delicious, authentic and affordable Thai! Probably the best spot for takeout in Papakura. Poppin' flavours, fresh produce, generous portions and fast service. The service is very concise proffesson, precision but blunt and lacking warmth... but I mean who wants fake smiles and bollox bants anyway?. The decor is comfortable and simple... but it's ALL about the food. it's damn fantastic.
I ordered Pad Sew ew and La Na chicken. Both these dishes needs large rice noodles. Pad Sew ew needs to be fried with dark soy sauce. But instead the restaurant use only one type of noodle pad Thai noodles for their noodle dishes. This was hugely disappointing because I was craving for real Thai food! If I wanted a Pas Thai noodles, I would have ordered Pad Thai. I will not order any food from here again. A restaurant should never compromise the actual authenticity of an ethnic food!
Good Thai food in South Auckland. Great service and decent indoors as well. Found bit pricey though for Papakura.
Great service, tasty food and very reasonably priced. Ticks all the boxes. My third time and I'll be back.Food: 5/5
To wait over an hour for a meal then be told it couldn't be made with the dietary requirements, was horrendous. It should have been a give away when a customer got up to write down their own order, or when we got told we would needed to wait because tables needed to be cleared, then waited 5-10 minutes and 20 minutes for our order to be taken. When we got up to leave and cancel the order we then got told the food was being made. I wish I could review the food, and say it was worth the wait. I guess we will never know.
They say it's a good time or a good story, right? Well must have been a fantastic story, because it definitely wasn't a good time. Inattentive, disorganised and excruciatingly slow service. Can't say what the food was like because we left after over an hour of waiting. Span some quality yarns while we were waiting but still would not recommend the experience, unless you're especially hungry for a long chat.
Very bad service. When we first arrived, the waitress said she had to clear some tables first so do we want to go away and come back, and we said we’d just wait - this took nearly ten minutes. And then twenty minutes to have our order taken. Fifteen minutes for our bottled ginger beer to arrive. And then another 50 minutes for her to come and say that it wasn’t possible to make one of the meals as we’d requested. We were waiting so long that the family at the next table were making jokes about how we’d be here until breakfast and that we were wasting away. About 8 people had come in and ordered and taken their take-away order away during this time. There was no one else in the restaurant waiting for their food for eat-in. After another 15 minutes of waiting we decided to just leave. We asked to have our drinks for free and there was some really awkward umming and ahhing on their part but they still made us pay after waiting all that time. Would noooot recommend!
