Stampede Restaurant & Bar

No tables available for 5 minutes if we were willing to wait. Used toilets while waiting. Toilets cubicles were dirty dried faeces on sanitary disposal container. Upon returning to restaurant we decided to leave. As we were leaving a staff member rushed after us a table conveniently was now available. We informed them why we would not be eating in the restaurant. They said the soiling must have just happened. Sorry overall cleanliness was poor.

We have been here a few times. New chef on board and he rocked 👌👍steak cooked perfectly and the Chicken Cabonara we to die for. Very friendly staff and reasonable prices.

Great service and meals, we enjoyed the seafood chowder and fish and stone grilled chicken kebabs. It's great to get good quality and reasonably priced meals in Papakura and close to home. Staff were all very nice, friendly and helpful. Keep up the great work. We'll be back!!

It was my best friend's 40th birthday. He's really into Stetson hats so Stampede was the perfect place to go. The staff have always been very friendly & courteous going out of their way to talk to us and accommodate our requests as well. Winter is particularly cold so a table next to the fireplace is perfect. They set it up beautifully and my friend couldn't be happier to see the effort that the staff had gone to for his birthday. The food was just as amazing. We ordered the lamb shank and salmon as recommended by Boston....it was awesome!!!!! We loved the salmon so much that we asked if we could thank the chef Dee. It was tender & slightly pinkish on the inside while crispy on the outside with skin still on. She came out personally and was thrilled to hear first hand how much we loved the food. So....15/10 for a very, very cool & memorable evening .....perfect cuisine, perfect hosts, perfect environment.....perfect everything!!!!!☺

Came here for a few drinks with a friend. It's ok - quite a basic bar. Not a great range of drinks. Staff were friendly.
