We frequently visit this Thai restaurant when we're in the mood for comfort food and prefer not to try a new place, as we know this restaurant never disappoints. Each dish here is perfectly saucy, just the way we like it. We dislike dry Thai fried rice or stir-fries, and this restaurant consistently meets our expectations.nnThe staff are exceptionally hospitable. They are always accommodating with our customization requests, such as having chili on the side or extra onions in our stir-fries, and they never hesitate to fulfill them.nnThe food here is incredibly delicious. The vegetables always taste fresh, and it is an absolute delight to dine here. We leave satisfied every time.
Amazing Thai restaurant, Food had a lot of flavour, staff were very attentive, polite and served us with a lovely smile, helped with taking group photos and celebrate a family members Birthday. Food came out hot and fast hats off to the chefs. Good Service, nice ambience. highly recommended. Will be back soon.
The good points first. Service was good, fast and polite. The man at the front was friendly and welcoming. The entree was delicious, we had chicken satay and the sauce was yum. We also had crispy Prawns which was also yum. The crab rice was good, with plenty of flavour. Unfortunately the mains were very disappointing. We had Ka Nah Moo Grob pork belly, which was really tough and dry and very little flavour. We also had Goong and Pia Murk Yang calamari & prawns which was very chewy and over cooked, again very little flavour. We were looking forward to coming here as the reviews were so positive and we love Thai food, we were left very disappointed.
What a gem in this area. Outstanding in food &nservice in a hidden little area. Highly recommend; so, let’s break it down:nnAtmosphere: *****nLocated in a small set of shops off a main road is this great little find. With a quaint shop front, you move inside to a nicely decorated Thailand themed restaurant. The shop is long and a little narrow but they use the space well and cleanliness is held in high regard. Well done!nnCustomer Service: *****nWas excellent, we were offered a drink on arrival, plus water and glasses were prepared on the table.nWe were given about 5-10 minutes to chat and enjoy our drinks, then ordered entrees and mains. Entrees were provided in 8 minutes and mains 10 mins after that. Exceptional!nWe were asked after our meal, offered dessert and the table was bussed within 2 minutes of each of us finishing.nEverything was presented with a smile and the staff were so nice and friendly. Well done!nnFood: Why we are here: *****nOrder: Vegetarian Spring Rolls, Curry Puffs, Massaman Currie with Duck, Penang Currie with Beef & and side of sticky rice.nEntrees: as expected the curry puffs were light and fluffy and the spring rolls crispy and hot.nMassaman - haven’t tried this with duck before but I can tell you it was delicious, the duck was so tender, the vegetables were cooked with that yummy soft crunch and the sauce was so rich and flavourful you wanted to drown the rice in it.nPenang - as above, the beef was cooked perfectly, the mixture of veggies perfectly cooked added to the mix of spices and sauce. Very more’ish.nnOverall: *****nnI have been here twice now and they have delivered this quality on both occasions with, what seems to be, absolutely pleasure and ease. I cannot recommend this Thai restaurant enough, Thank You, White Jasmine Thai!
