We didn't stay in the rooms on our visit, but our friends did and said the rooms were very clean and comfortable. We were in the bar for several hours with a large group of friends, and it was warm and welcoming. The staff are very nice. We had very nice cocktails and pizzas and bowls of chips for snacks. They run a happy hour from 3 to 5 pm, which was a welcome bonus. Then, in to the lovely large dining room for dinner, which has senior meals available if required.
The Settlement is a well established main stay of Cranbourne. The service staff were happy and approachable, especially Margaret. The only slight frown was the meal. The Mushroom and Leek Risotto could have more flavour, and the Chicken Wings weren't heated through enough. However, the sticky chilli sauce that came with the wings was yum. I would definitely go back as the atmosphere was nice and relaxing.
Great service at the restaurant. After lunch my in-laws and 2 kids were sitting on the comfy couches in the lobby. Kids were minding their own business colouring in with my in laws. We were then told to leave by the manager as the lady at reception opposite us had a headache. This was because of the noise. Now there was no excessive noise and kids were not shouting. What was meant to be a happy afternoon turned sour because the way were treated. Rather than telling us to leave, you should’ve told your reception staff to go home if she is not well. Disappointed and will not be returning that’s for sure!
It was great being able to go and grab a late lunch/early dinner out of the normal bistro hours.nThe cafe had a lovely atmosphere. Heaps of options on the menu. The staff were lovely.nLooking forward to our next visit.
How lovely. Our stay was a delight every contact and service.nThe room with two queen beds was spacious and spotless. Nice bathroom supplies and bottle of cold water in fridge. Small balcony with seating to extend the space. Very comfortable beds and aircon for comfort. We had an enjoyable inexpensive meal and bottle of wine which epe were able to finish off in our room. Complimentary breakfast was just enough to allow us to start the day as we finished our overnight stay. In every encounter each staff member was clear, flexible, attentive and happy to assist. I will be saying nice things about them behind their back as a very happy customer.
