We hadn't been there for years since we moved out of the area, but went there a few of weeks ago for a weekday lunch. People serving were warm and welcoming. Very good at their roles. However,  the kitchen staff need to learn the difference between a scotch fillet and a porterhouse. Paid for the scotch,  received a porterhouse. Was ok, but it seems product knowledge is severely lacking in that kitchen. Hiring better quality kitchen staff would lift that place immensely.

Went for dinner the other night and had possibly the worst Chicken Parma I've ever had. Was very thin, dry and overcooked with burnt edges. Was luke warm and I felt it had precooked or had been sitting there for a while. Only ate half. When the waitress who I won't name came over to collect she asked how my meal was. I told her it wasn't very nice to which she replied 'sorry' and walked away. Couldn't care less! In hindsight I should have complained to the manager.

Usually the food at the bistro here is alright. However tonight the fish was almost raw.  OK, so mistakes happen. However a defensive rude response when it is pointed out is definitely not OK.  Suggesting it is me is not OK. John Dory is supposed to be white fish, not grey and translucent. That is not a matter of “taste”. So i ended up paying for nothing.

Extremely disappointed with the vegan dessertnWife has anaphylactic reactions to dairy, so vegan should have been a good choice. The cake MAY have been vegan. But to decorate the dish with chocolate buttons and cocoa powder-refusing to accept responsibility toonWill never eat there again.

A place with such potential let down by an incompetent manager. Jason, who I'm fairly sure is a product of napitism has zero awareness. Walking past the bar 3 times while it's 4 customers deep and doesn't stop to help. When asked if the doors can be closed as it was cold , we are told no because they are fire doors that not how that works Jason not saying sorry when the bench seat moved and almost sent my aunt to the floor, and yes we had to ask him to help as he stood at the end of our table with meal in his hand.nI ordered the Carbonara to only be able to eat a few mouthfuls as it was a Penne parsley more then a carbonara, when I told the server why I hadn't eaten it they said they would let the Manager know. Jason was apparently too busy rearranging the pass to come and say something, and don't bother going there if you or someone is in a wheelchair. No disability parking, only access to bistro is up a steep incline that cars use, but once you navigate that you do get to squeeze into a small door as the main entrance only has stairs. Absolute disgrace
