Went to settlement bistro last night- Sunday 3 chicken parma’s were overcooked , burnt around the edges and dry, the chips were stone cold and the fourth meal which was a salad was dreadful and soggy. If they cant get it right on a Sunday night , when can they and it wasn’t even busy at 5:30. Daughter ordered an alcoholic drink which they brought to the table and spilt it and didnt care, drink was watered down. 4 very poor meals that were hardly eaten and will not be going back. I do not recommend at all , even the staff seemed unfriendly.
My husband and I stayed with our newborn over fathers day weekend. The staff were exceptional, the quality of the food was beautiful and the price for our weekend was very reasonable! We love the original decor of the rooms & restaurant! It was inviting and homely. The size of the bath was the highlight of my weekend though. We will definitely be back!
nVisited The Settlement in Cranbourne and had the roast of the day. The meal was delicious, generous in size, and cooked perfectly. Classic pub atmosphere with friendly service and a relaxed vibe. A great spot for a hearty pub meal — I’d definitely come back again.
The quality of the food, especially the pizzas is terrible. The pizza I had on the 1/11/25, was the worst I've ever had. They used the cheapest base, watered down sauce and low cost cheese. I've had better frozen pizzas from a supermarket. We used to go every Friday night, when they did amazing wood fired pizzas but they closed the wood fired oven last year and the quality has been getting worse ever since. Never spending another cent of my hard earned money at this venue, ever again!
We stayed here because we were heading to Gippsland the next day. The rooms look like they were decorated in 1980 and never been updated. Kind of cute but also tired.nThe bed was pretty awful -soft & springy in not a good way.nContinental breakfast was included. No oat milk availablenParking was free & right outside the building.nThe corridors were grubby- it didn’t look like they’d been vacuumed for a few days.
