I understand they are understaffed and overworked. But seriously? 4-5 hour wait for them to see a child in pain. The receptionist looks like she's about to strangle you. A smile would go a long way. Not friendly at all. Especially when parents are in a stressful situation. Doctors are hard to understand sometimes. But I respect they have jobs to do and see many people.

Turned up to Whitecross 2hrs ago and I received excellent service from both receptionists when we arrived and when we left. Both nurses were fabulous and full of energy even at 11pm. The Dr was lovely and friendly. Thank you Whitecross, Lincoln Rd for your wonderful and friendly customer service :):)

The doctor told me my child had the start of a viral flu he only gave her pain and fever medicine ibuprofen and paracetamol. My daughters only a 1 1/2yo she now has a worse infection ear, throat and chest because they didn't give her antibiotics. This is shocking I don't recommend this place for kids at all.. My daughter was clearly unwell when we went in.

I went to this practice last week for medical reasons, since my family doctor was unavailable. The waiting area was clean and tidy and the doctor that I saw was friendly and efficient. However, the receptionist was very unpleasant. She did not listen and asked the same question twice and was quite rude. This was noticeable by more people that just myself. Another woman, in terrible pain, arrived and was told to "Fill out this form and have a seat", when there are signs clearly stating that if you are in a lot of pain let the receptionist know, for immediate assistance. The pricing that this service charges is outrageous too. If you need emergency medical treatment, you would probably be better off going somewhere else.

Visited this practice this week and waited a whole hour to be seen by a doctor. This wait time is just ridiculous. You need to allow a lot of time for visiting these East Tamaki Healthcare surgeries as you can be waiting up to 2 hrs sometimes. On top the that the Indian receptionist decided to tell us some of her life story....I mean really,does she really think patients want to hear about her life for over 5 mins?????. The other problem was that the nurses and doctors stand at the very far end of the front desk calling names very quietly,how dumb is that?.Lucky we did get a nice doctor in the end. But its pretty evident this country has been sold out to cheap and nasty medical practices who seek to employ their own. The pharmacy connected to this place was full of Indian shop assistants walking around looking confused not knowing what they were doing as well. Owned by Indians,what do we expect really??. NZ tax payers are funding these less than satisfactory medical practices that have really reduced our standard of care to far below satisfactory.
