A Convenient, Relaxed Spot for Bargain Hunting in the CitynnIf you are looking for a solid day of bargain hunting right in the heart of Perth, Watertown Brand Outlet Centre is definitely worth a visit. Located just on the edge of the CBD in West Perth, its central location is easily its biggest selling point. You don’t have to drive miles out into the suburbs or near the airport to find discounted brands, and it’s incredibly accessible by public transport, including the free CAT buses.nnThe layout of Watertown is really pleasant. Unlike massive, overwhelming indoor malls, this centre features a great open-air promenade design that makes walking from shop to shop feel relaxed and breezy. It’s a wonderful place to stroll around on a sunny Perth day. As for the shopping itself, there is a very decent selection of stores catering to all kinds of needs. You’ll find popular sports and streetwear brands like Converse and Oakley, alongside fashion staples like Calvin Klein and Connor. If you take your time to dig through the racks and look for seasonal sales, you can genuinely score some fantastic deals, sometimes up to 50% or 60% off regular retail prices.nnI am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 for a couple of realistic reasons. Firstly, you do have to pay for parking, which can eat into your discount savings slightly if you plan on browsing for several hours. Secondly, it is noticeable that a few storefronts are sitting empty these days, likely due to competition from newer outlet centres, so it doesn't quite have the packed-out energy it used to have.nnHowever, that quieter atmosphere is actually a massive plus if you prefer to avoid chaotic crowds, messy racks, and long queues for the fitting rooms! The food options are decent enough to help you refuel mid-shop, and overall, it remains a highly convenient and rewarding destination. If you're in the city and want to update your wardrobe without paying full retail price, Watertown is still a fantastic, hassle-free go-to.
Been to Watertown Brand Outlet heaps of times, and it’s always a solid spot for a bit of shopping. Super handy location – just on the edge of the Perth CBD – and easy enough to get to whether you're driving or catching the bus.nnThere’s a good mix of big-name brands and local ones, and you can usually find decent deals if you take your time to look around. A few empty shopfronts here and there, which is a bit of a shame, but hopefully they’ll fill up soon.nnToilets are available on every floor, which is great – though when we visited today, the urinals on the second floor were out of order, so we had to head back down to the ground floor. Not a big deal, but something to be aware of.nnThe centre's layout is kind of semi-outdoor, so if it’s bucketing down, you might get a bit wet moving between shops. Still, it’s well maintained, clean, and worth a visit if you're up for a bargain.
I recently visited the House store at Watertown Brand Outlet and had such a lovely experience. The lady with grey hair and glasses was so kind and helpful. I was searching for a multi-layered serving dish but couldn’t find one, and she went out of her way to help me. She offered me a discounted dish that was the last one available — and it was exactly what I needed. Truly great customer service!
3.5 starsnVery close to city/Northbridge. Good to walk from Perth Train station and busports. Yellow CAT bus stop is there.nCarparks are not cheap here.n2 levels. Various brands with discount prices there. No special edition. Not really attractive.
This outlet center keeps things simple – it's not the most exciting place to shop. Unless you have a particular item in mind, your visit might be a bit underwhelming. It's a quick in-and-out kind of place where you can find what you need without too much hassle. However, don't expect a variety of choices; the offerings are pretty limited. The food options follow the same trend – not much to rave about, just basic eats. If you're all about efficiency and a straightforward shopping experience, it could work for you.
