About

Attracts local/international visitors with its inviting atmosphere & unique architecture making it superbly different to the sky scrapers in the city

Story

Built in 1937 as a combination of residential and commercial premises for a wealthy gold miner and financier Claude de Bernales, Perth's London Court is designed using the architectural features present in Elizabethan times.

London Court attracts local and international visitors with its friendly, inviting atmosphere and unique architectural style making it superbly different to the sky scrapers it is nestled under in the City of Perth.

The only walk in the world outside Britain that has captured a setting and atmosphere so similar to that of Tudor England, London Court is a retail walkway running between Hay Street Mall and St Georges Terrace in the heart of Perth.

London court was build in the 1930. It a short street about 70 to 80 meters long. There are cafe, souvenirs shop...etc. You can walk through to the other side. The entrance facade looks like a castle with a clock. When the clock strike a certain time, the Knight in horses will goes around.
Historical English type architecture.nA shopping mews with some lovely little shops.nWorth a browse if you’re passing.
Camp o rama. So good. A little slice of faux Tudor style in Perth. What? But also I don't care I'm so here for it.
London Court brang me vibes of Diagon Alley in the Harry Potter movies. Lots of little shops such as souvenirs, suit tailors, barber shop, etc.nnNice area to visit and shop at.
London Court is one of those places that really stands out in the heart of modern Perth. Walking through it feels like stepping into a different world – with its mock-Tudor façades, hanging signs, and decorative touches, it’s clearly inspired by old London, and it’s been done with a lot of care and attention to detail.nnThat said, there’s definitely a slightly Disney-esque feel to it – a bit polished, a bit theatrical – like someone’s romantic idea of what historic London should look like. But honestly, that’s part of the charm. It’s whimsical and playful, and it brings a bit of character and atmosphere to the city centre.nnWhat really makes it special, though, are the little independent shops tucked along the lane. There’s a great variety – from artisan chocolates to watchmakers, local fashion, souvenirs, and cafés. Each one has its own personality, and together they make London Court feel lively and full of small discoveries.nnIt’s definitely worth a wander, whether you're after a unique gift, a sweet treat, or just want to enjoy something a bit different. It might not be quite the real London, but it’s a lovely nod to it – and a fun, curious corner of Perth to explore.
