Story

The City West commercial, retail and entertainment complex is a vibrant ‘city within a city’ occupying a prominent location in West Perth. Situated just minutes from the Perth CBD and close to major entry and exit points for both the Mitchell and Kwinana Freeways, the complex also enjoys excellent access to nearby bus and train facilities.

Possibly the worst experience you can have dealing with a government department. Typical public servants. No sense of urgency. I heard a couple of girls talking about last nights tv for a good 2 minutes before calling up the next customer. Minimum parking charge $4.50, & you need to know you number plate to get a ticket! Stupendous considering if you've just bought a new car you probably haven't got your rego plate burned into your brain. I arrived and the carpark was nearly half full & it still took 45 minutes just to hand in my number plates!! No consideration has been paid to the customer here. You have to go there so the DOT doesn't have to try. Not even worth one star! A study in how not to do business, very substandard.

Had to visit the licencing centre. There's no other reason why I would go there. It was a normal experience.

The whole process was quite simple and straightforward. The officers were nice and helpful.

Went to Scitech with the GKs. Only lost the one (for 30 mins ) Staff very helpful in tracking said GK who claimed to have been at same exhibit the whole time. I personally witnessed her nose grow 50mm. Considering buying fluorescent worker's jacket or sewing one of those small tracking buttons somewhere. Its a great place to visit in 2 to 3 hour bursts ..suggest buying annual membership as you can then go as many times as you want (or more to the point as THEY want)...a good birthday or Xmas present. No GK was harmed during the construction and experience of this story. Oh yes suggest taking a photo of your entourage. ..that way you can describe the colour n style of their clothing if they get lost

Free 2 hour parking?? In the city??? YES PLEASE!!! Feels like a little secret shopping spot to come do your electrical shopping at Harvey Norman. With ample parking... cute cafe, Domayne, Harvey Norman and a couple more shops its a hidden gem where you can still get great customer service.
