We love our kiwi music. Whether it's Sunday Sessions in the garden bar, local acts on the main stage or chilled sessions on the bistro deck, Waihi Beach Hotel is a must for music entertainment!

Our takeaway store offers coffee and fresh, healthy food for the beach - as well as our award winning gelato.

Went out for dinner with friends to this restaurant. It was a disappointment with no atmosphere in the room.nOur glass of prosecco was 'low tide'.nThe Ceasar salad was made from yellow iceberg lettuce.nA side bowl of fries was $18!nLamb shank was cooked well, unfortunately the peas and carrots her dry and hard. Not enough gravy and too thick.nThe one waitress that was serving all 3 tables in the restaurant did a good job.nPick up your game if you want return customers

Such a descent, professional and soft spoken staff.nBeautiful and secure with family to visit.nSomehow, I lost the keys of house we were really worried but after sometime a security officer approached to my wife and handed over the keys, we were really thankful off whole staff.n#Highlyrecommend #Ramneek professional manger.
My wife and I had high expectations for Mazzola’s Restaurant based on a wonderful visit years ago, but our experience tonight was a complete letdown. The server was disinterested and inattentive, spending more time with her back to the restaurant than engaging with us or the one other table in use.nnMy wife ordered a pasta dish that was supposed to be mild, but it arrived extremely spicy—despite no mention of chili or spice in the description. With her low tolerance for heat, we decided she should reorder. She chose a Caesar salad, which turned out to be a further disappointment: it lacked the traditional Caesar dressing and the lettuce was wilted, clearly not fresh.nnTo top it off, our server never checked on us or asked how the meal was, not sure if she was having a bad night or what.nnThis will be our last visit to Mazzola’s, as we went out of our way to come back here with family and this experience was nothing short of frustrating and embarrassing as we had talked the place up
The food from the restaurant is great! I am going to be a returning customer for sure. Over the past few weeks I have trialed the wagyu beef checks, lamb shanks, fish and the spaghetti olio and I cannot fault these at all, perfect food, perfect service and an even better location.
We stopped to eat for dinner here after a long day and were extremely disappointed with the food served.nnMy mom ordered a pasta, which ended up being overly spicy with some sort of chilli flakes in it that were not listed as part of the ingredients. Beyond the spice, it didn't taste like much of anything and had no flavour. She couldn't eat it, so we ordered her a caesar salad, which did not taste like caesar at all and came with limp lettuce and unseasoned chicken.nnI ordered a burger and wedges. Both the burger and wedges were tasteless and could have benefited from some decent seasoning.nnI would give this place a pass if you are stopping for a meal in the area.nnEdit: Just want to say it's funny how after receiving so many recent negative reviews they suddenly have 2 five star reviews with pretty much 0 detail and from brand new accounts with no other activity on them.
