We chose to come to Astrolabe for dinner after a show in the mount. It was packed but luckily we got a table outside which didn’t bother us. The food and drinks were great and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
Waited more than an hour for food. Mains weren’t served all together, ten mins apart.nBeef Nachos had barely any meat on it, $30.nBurgers were good, salmon poke bowl also nice.nStaff mostly unhelpful and unfriendly, a few exceptions.
Crafty seagulls stole my Korean Chicken…but the first half was 5 star! Watch out if you sit on the patio!
We went for dinner at about 6pm on a Wednesday night and no problem getting a table and our meal arrived promptly. The bar staff taking our order didn’t appear to understand our NZ accent at all and we had to repeat ourselves many times over to order our meal and drinks. The meals were really good, My burger was tasty and my wife enjoyed her chicken buddha bowl. Don’t eat outside if you don’t want to be pestered by lots of seagulls.
My partner and I visited for lunch today, and it was fantastic! I had the steak, and my partner chose the fish and chips—both dishes were excellent. The wait time was reasonable, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Highly recommend!
