Great social and family friendly pub and restaurant. The unique “fireplace” community table is a perfect place to stay warm and make friends. Loved it. Fantastic collection of tap beers! Not a lot of finger food options but that’s not an issue as one can manage with what’s on the menu.
Great customer service, delicious food and warm ambiance on a cold night. Really enjoyed the mussels with sour dough. Plum and Proper cocktail was very tasty.
Had a lovely dinner here tonight. The food was well-prepared and the atmosphere made it a great spot to relax and enjoy the evening.nnWhat really stood out was the thoughtful service — they surprised us with a complimentary dessert to celebrate a birthday, which was a very nice touch and made the experience feel special.nnOverall, a place I’d happily come back to.
The staff were amiable and service was prompt.nWe ordered the pull-apart garlic bread and requested for the cheese to be put on the side - they were very accommodating.nThe wholesome greens salad that contained the baby spinach and avocados were absolutely fresh and delicious and was a generous portion for 5 of us to share.nOn the sharing platter - the southern friend chicken was soft and tender. The crackers went very well with the flavourful Smoked kahawai. The garlic bread was very buttery and garlicky - an acquired taste for some at the table. Overall an enjoyable meal.
Great range of drinks and fantastic food. Feels like home coming from the UK.
