Absolutely appalled that this clinic is listed as “LGBTQ Friendly” and “Transgender safe” on Google. My partner arrived to find reception had changed her gender to “male”, from the “female” she had selected on her intake form. Everyone from the moment she arrived referred to her as “Mr.” and “he”, even after corrected. “Mr.” was also put on all of her bills and prescriptions, which could make getting rebates more difficult, as she’s legally & officially female and referred to as “Miss” or “Ms” everywhere else. None of her other doctors have this issue. When challenged on this, reception settled for…Mx. Disgusted that they’d put her through all this, and it might snowball when we have to explain to insurance why its listed wrong. Plus, the doctor mixed up which eye needed treatment and generally didn’t listen to her concerns. Altogether, they seem disorganised and uncaring. Expected better from a private practice. Won’t go here again.

I was there yesterday and the staff treated me well. I was there about 15minutes before my appointment and was seen exactly at my appointment. The optometrists I have did their job really well and were very courteous.
He's an awesome Eye specialist. I highly recommend him.
Staff Assistance that saw me first today was brilliant date 7/09/2022.
He is a very good doctor he takes his time give you a very good check over not one that your in and out in a minute
Had a horrible experience especially with Dr. Uday Bhatt. No one tells you anything - at my initial consultation, they immediately start putting drops in your eyes, but no one tells you that you won't be able to see properly for next few hours. Similarly, I went in for a crosslinking procedure - at no point in the consults or documentation do they say how severe the pain is going to be, or fully explain the process. But Dr. Bhatt was the worst, during the procedure, he didn't even acknowledge me say hello, or explain what was happening. Then even in the follow-up two days later when I was expecting more information on the after-care, he couldn't wait to get me out of the room - took one look at my eye, then didn't even want to hear any of my questions. Stay away from this place - absolutely disgraceful.
I went to see a doctor at Footscray for the first time about getting laser surgery. Overall it was a good experience. The staff were friendly and efficient.
The doctor there botched a procedure on my eye. It got infected and I had to go back to get antibiotics. Now I have a permanent lump on my eyelid and it looks so ugly. I see it everyday in the mirror and I'm so devastated.
After years of great treatment from Mr .Roydhouse I have been very let down by his referred colleague Uday Bhatt.After waiting 6 weeks for an initial appointment we scheduled cataract surgery for 18 July about another six weeks after the consult.Being self employed I made I made all my work committments around that date,arrangements for which I am contractually bound.So what does he do?His staff tell me he rang up today & cancelled because he was going on a conference.No apparent regard for patient welfare or arrangements.Caveat emptor
