We were seated inside the Gold Class foyer and told to wait for a concierge. We waited so long that the trailers started, so we went inside and ordered our snacks once we were seated - to be delivered at 6.30pm. At 6.50pm the meal finally arrived, and at 7pm we had to press the service button to ask where our drinks were. For $50 a ticket, I expect much better service. Thumbs down Gold Class Werribee
The foyer was clean and neat. Being the school holidays, the queue was long but customers were served quickly as a few counters were opened. Best to purchase tickets in advance, if not buying any food/drinks to skip the queue. There's game arcade within the area.
Arrived at Gold Class 40 minutes early to have a drink before the movie. After paying was told that we couldn't have the drinks until the movie had started because that's the procedure although we've had food and drinks before the movie a number of other times. Was given a refund for the drinks as I'd rather not have them than support such poor service. Spent the time watching others drink from the public food and drink outlet while we spent nothing. On arrival at our seats we had to ask for them to be cleaned as they were covered with popcorn from the previous people. Never again
I've been to gold class twice in the last 2 weeks. The first was to watch Avatar 2, the first thing I ordered was apparently out of stock. So I decided to go for the pizza seemed reasonable the pizza and my wife ordered the fish and chips. Firstly the pizza was like a Mc Caine's frozen pizza considering the price figured that it would of been a nice it was awful. My wife order the fish and chips the fish that was even worse. It was disgusting and full of oil could tell that it was frozen cheap fish or out of the box. And to top it off they actually forgot some of our meal. I went there tonight, my order was messed up yet again, the burger was dry chips had obviously been sitting for a while. If I was to say anything about my experience with the staff the young people that served us were great, they lead us to our seat in a timely manner. And weren't intrusive while serving during the movie. They honestly did a great job. But entering the cinemas themselves has an awful smell it was very musty. And obviously with the food the gold class experience was a let down for me.
Gold class has gone down hill in a big way!! The seats were dirty they tables are filthy. I chose something off the menu and it wasn't available so I chose something else that wasn't available chose my third thing and was told they don't do that anymore so I had to order something I really didn't want. 2 adults and a child with food we didn't want was nearly $300!! The chips had been cooked about 5 times were dry and too crispy, same with the fish. The wedges were off!! The burger bun was so stale!! Stay away! Complete waste of money!!
Gold Class My Arse! Another experience ruined through incompetence. Booked Film, Location and Session Time through Toyota on a 2 for 1 offer. Correspondence clearly stipulated to display vouchers at Box Office. When we arrived and displayed our vouchers at Gold Class Box Office, our seats weren't booked. Staff advised they have had lots of problems with outsourced vouchers and called management who advised we had to book on Village Website as well. Nowhere was this stipulated when we booked. Management agreed the wording on Toyota Offer did not stipulate this and as we booked film, location and session time we assumed that we were booked. Obviously our mistake for thinking a booking was a booking. Issue could not be resolved and Village definitely steered the fault in Toyota's direction. Now whilst Toyota were at fault for not advising people to also double book on Village Website, here's a thought. If Village are having ongoing issues with outsourced vouchers maybe fix the issue or stop bloody outsourcing vouchers! It seems they're happy to just handball the blame and leave their customers disappointed and unhappy with the whole experience. Village, there is obviously issues with your outsourced vouchers programs. Instead of passing the buck why don't you address the issues. Really bad form Once again, thankyou for ruining our night out that we were really looking forward to as a special occasion. No really, good job.
How do you speak with someone over the phone??? Submitting a contact us form via the website to request a refund that you may or may not get for a movie that starts in under 3 hours is not good enough. There needs to be someone you can speak with directly. FAQ state a refund can be requested via their app however the app says I have no future bookings! Don’t bother calling the number on their google page - the computer recording will only tell you session times.
Went to gold class Avatar. 19/12/2022. Food was ordered on line menu was not up to date. Items ordered not available. Changed to chicken hamburger and beef hamburger. Would have to be the worst burgers I’ve ever come across. The cinema attendant handed us the menu to chose she handed those menus to have a look at to see what we were gonna get because they didn’t have what was on order in the dark. This would have to be the worst Gold class I’ve ever been to would not recommend Werribee Gold class at all.
Popcorn had WAY too much salt, was more like eating salt with a bit of popcorn. Partner fed this back and enquired if a fresh one with no salt could be given -no replacement, no refund offered - had the popcorn from the top after a couple of handfuls was unedible from the salt. Suggest that staff need training in popcorn making and customer service! Returned to candy bar at intermission - partner and child were ignored by staff who clearly saw them but continued talking -ended up returning without what the little one was after. Staff need training. Place needs a revamp. Old seating & carpet not worth more then $5-$7 a ticket.
Cinema place! Gold class available as well. If you member can earn reward points and redeem for snacks, food etc. Recommend online purchase of tickets and snacks during peak times.
