Very hit and miss. Always used to be issues with sound quality. Since the upgrades, it's just that the sound is often way too loud. The food/drink pricing is ridiculous (although I guess that's expected at cinemas) and you still have to sit through ads. Honestly, the gap in quality between cinema and an average home set-up is quickly closing. And it doesn't really matter how good the gear is if it's set-up poorly. With movies coming out so late in Australia anyway, you're better off waiting 2 months for the bluray release than taking a gamble on this cinema. Gold class is generally pretty good though. Still occasional sound issues.

I went to the cinema here with my brother a couple of weeks ago. The film was okay, but what I enjoyed was the way the staff let us just walk in, no one stopped us and asked for our ticket! I used to think cinemas did not provide the service they did in the past because they were cutting corners in the interests of making money but now I see that they are actually trying to develop a beautiful trusting relationship with the community. Good on you village cinemas, if there was more of this relationship building by corporations the world would be a better place.

Found the cinema reasonably priced when compared to mainland cinemas. They are also clean. Screen size is rather small though unless in gold class. Sit towards the front. Sound is passable.

Fantastic since the recent refurbishment! Looks great, really comfortable seats, and the screens are bigger than Eastlands (in some cinemas only)
